Building Christian Character

Update: Nearly finished with the book and have even more to rave about. This is an open and go book and so it has been the most effective "subject" in our homeschool curriculum, not to mention the most important. I'm planning to teach from this for Sunday school at our church.As noted previously:This resource is better than I could've imagined! We do a couple activities a day from it and my sons (6 and 11) have enjoyed them and have taken off with the lessons! Thankful to have found this book.

I've been looking for a Bible curriculum for our homes school for quite a while. It seems mostly if you want to do something on your own, it involves reading a Bible story and doing some sort of craft. What I really like about this book is that you get the Bible story and along with it, activities to print out, songs, games, and very easy crafts with materials you are likely to have already at home. You also get another story about kids in real life situations that apply to the Bible story you just read and printable activities to go with the life story and lastly, a certificate kids can color and pledge to apply whatever character trait to their real lives. The book is so full of ideas and activities that it's very easy to pick and choose from it and still come away with full lesson.

This workbook has some good teaching stories and fun activities. We use it every week. The Bible stories however are literal so if your child is not ready for stories of killing and violence you may want to skip over these stories as we do.

Book was in amazing condition I will definitely be purchasing from this store again!

This is our second round through this book with the same child- that's how much she loved it! Building Christian Character can be worked on by the child alone but is better received when it becomes fun cuddle time with mom or dad.

Building Christian Character is an amazing book. It allows me to teach about having a godly character to children ages 5-11. I have a few teens in my class also who are surprised to learn a few things from it too. I would definitely recommend this work book to teachers and parents alike.

This has really great intentions. But I felt this was very opinion based as opposed to biblical. I definitely recommend reading it before implementing it to your teaching. I will still use it, but will be altering or skipping some things I felt were not accurate/complete/biblical.

Every family needs to have this. I am glad I made this purchase. The kids like the brainstorming sections.
