Beetles UV-Free Peel-Off Base Coat is designed for frequently changing nail art/color without damaging natural nails. I change styles very quickly (like every other day), and so products such as this fit my use case. But, if you prefer something that lasts more than a few days, you may want to look for something else. Using this product under regular nail polish or gel polish, I got 3-4 days wear MAX. Using this product under nail tips and nail glue, I got 1-2 days wear MAX - the length/weight of the nail tips create leverage and can cause the base coat to peel much faster. This product does NOT require UV curing. It also has little to no odor, dries quickly, and dries somewhat shiny (so you might want a matte top coat over it so the polish/gel/glue you put over it will adhere better - you can't file the nail surface to make it matte, or you will remove the peel-off base coat). I tested out this product using it under regular nail polish, gel polish, and nail glue/full cover tips. It lasted under nail polish/gel polish for 3-4 days and lasted under nail glue/tips for 1-2 days. I did NOT prep my natural nails before using this product except for pushing back my cuticles. I applied 2 thin coats of the peel-off base coat under nail polish, gel polish, and nail glue/tips. It dried a little shiny, so I applied a coat of matte gel top coat (and cured for 60 seconds) to the peel-off base coat to make it more adherent for the nail polish, gel polish, or nail glue/tips - remember, no filing the surface. Here are some things I learned about this product: 1-After applying/drying the peel-off base coat, don't get the nails wet (or oily) before applying anything else. The base coat may actually start to peel immediately. Keep nails away from water, alcohol, oil, etc. 2-Don't get peel-off base coat on cuticles or skin touching/surrounding nails. Wipe it off the skin before it dries. If it dries on the skin, it will peel easily and if connected to the polish on the nail, it will act like a sort of "rip cord" and will peel off the entire nail. You may want to leave an uncovered gap around the edges of the nail to avoid this. 3-Don't file the surface (and be very careful about filing the nail edges) after the peel-off base coat is applied/dried - it will come off. 4-Removal is best when the base coat peels off when it's ready; but if you have to force it to peel, make sure to soak your nails in warm, soapy water for a few minutes and perhaps use some cuticle oil to prevent damage to your natural nail. Generally speaking, these air-dry peel-off base coats DO NOT damage the natural nails, but any forcing/prying/ripping/scratching the polish/nail tip could cause damage. The base coat will typically peel off by itself in one big piece; if you have to rip it and force it off in multiple pieces, you've probably taken some natural nail with it. Beetles UV-Free Peel-Off Base Coat does what it is designed to do - provides an easy way to remove nail polish, gel polish, or nail tips/nail glue after a short period of wear with minimal to no damage to the natural nail. For those of us who enjoy frequently changing up nail art/styles, I would definitely recommend!

Love this brand of gel nail polish! It lasts and is durable through washing dishes and all of the mom life things. It’s clear which is great for any color you add to the top of it. Great product!

It does just what it says it does! Perfect for someone who likes to change nails frequently, or practices, and demonstrates. No muss no fuss! Stayed on until I easily removed it! Perfect for this purpose. It went on pretty thin, which is what you want, to avoid too much bulk, as you add more layers to your design. I didn't wait for them to fall off, before I removed them… so I don't know how long they would've stayed on, but they showed no signs of loosening. I recommend, I would buy it again, good product.

This product really helped with keeping my gel nail polish on. I found that a manicure didn't last a week. Using this base coat my polish stayed on for nearly three weeks during the holidays when I was doing a lot of cleaning.

Great go to if you run out of Unt and need something. I use this with dip powders and couldn't be happier.
