Works great
Had the classic issue of having to hold down the wall mounted button to close the garage door.Otherwise it would reverse and open and would not close unless the wall mount button was held untilthe door fully shut. These were the least expensive ones. I decided to go with them because they all look totally the sameby the pictures. Compared to the original Chamberlin sensors, the housing looks exactly the same. The only very minor difference is and almost not worth mentioning is the 2 foot section of wires on the new are sold and the existing Chamberlin wires are copper strand. I just striped the wires, twisted together and electrical taped them. I didn't bother with the supplied connectors.IMPORTANT: Like the other reviewer said, they have to be connected as "reversed polarity".The black/white to the white. Not black/white to black/white and white to white as you would think. If you connect them incorrectly the LED lights will not come on. Then you know you have to reversethe wires. All very SIMPLE!

garbage
I should not have to be a company's quality control. I wasted hours of my life trying to get these to work. This is garbage. It didn't work at all. Had to install the old ones. The lights don't even go on to show they are aligned no matter how close they are. Where is the quality control... oh yea we are the quality control, our time, our effort, and now I have to go return these. I feel like smashing them with a hammer.

My wires reversed too, great anyway.
My old sensors were having trouble in the sun. These work fine at a great price and delivery time. The directions say to put the stripped wire on the gray terminal and white to white. The units I received were backwards. Also, they cannot be mix-matched with the old units (not really a problem, but interesting). They are working in the sun and a great price. Don't get discouraged if it doesn't work at first swap the wires. Also, you can put both units in parallel on one side to check operations easier. Will buy these again.

Works, but must switch wires!
Product is a low cost replacement for the Chamberlain sensor, but you must switch the wires for it to work. As others have pointed out, the supplied instructions appear to be wrong. Wire it stripe to white and white to stripe, not stripe to stripe and white to white as you would expect.I was able to reuse the existing wing nut and bolt (though replacements are supplied). I also opted to use wire nuts and electrical tape in lieu of the supplied connectors. You will need wire strippers to complete this replacement. The outer dimensions of the sensor appear to be nominally the same as the original. Also, I only replaced the orange led sensor that had failed. The new one has no issues working with the original green sensor on the other side (so far).

Work great
Great price worked perfectly with older craftsman gsrage door opener. As others said wiring goes opposite to make it work. Black to white instead of white to white and black to black.

Works as described
Sunshine was stopping the door from going down at curtain times of the day. Tried sheilds didn't help. New sensors problem solved. You have to reverse the polarity of the wires, per instructions, at install.

great replacement
these are great replacements . be sure to swap wires { not black stripe to black stripe or white to white } do black stripe to white . {opposite of what u assume to be normal } to get to work at least on my door . easy and good buy, unfortunately I did not need these as I found a chewed up part of wire directly from main unit on rafter above, chipmunk or squirrel chewed thru wire so I ran new wire and used my old sensors. I will buy these when needed .
