GREAT alternative to $$$ bed coolers
I bought this bed cooling system months ago for my significant other because he sleeps hot and a fan just isn't enough. This is a small pad that lays on one side of the mattress so if you're looking for something to cover the entire bed, this isn't for you. We looked into getting a more expensive cooling system at first, but decided to try this one out. You do have to refill the tank every night, and flush it out every 1-2 weeks just to keep it clean but this is well worth the money if you have someone who sleeps hot and needs some relief. The quality of the product for the price point is great. His quality of sleep has improved drastically and he noticed the heat level change almost instantly. The machine itself is plastic, very light weight, and honestly not very loud when it's running. Easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear. I had some issues with the cleaning process and actually damaged the first one I ordered(completely my fault). Their customer service is through email, which I was dreading, but they got back to me so quickly and instantly replaced my machine. No questions asked. I was very impressed.

No more sweaty nights! (well, unplanned ones anyway)
I owned this for two years now: if you get hot flashes or night sweats — just buy it. Don’t ask, don’t hesitate. Buy it. This system truly works. I used to wake up drenched and needing to change pajamas, sometimes twice a night. With this unit, I sleep through the night — unless the water runs out (then I wake up hot and see the flashing light). During the three nights the unit was broken (see below) , I slept terribly. NOTE: I purchased unit exactly two years ago — it worked flawlessly. To my discredit, I almost never turned it off during the day (though I cleaned it regularly-ish). It finally malfunctioned almost exactly two years after purchase. Before ordering a new one, I quickly emailed customer service — within four hours, they replied and said they would send me a new unit, no questions asked. Exceptional service! The replacement arrived two days later — perfect timing, as I had just had surgery and was spending a lot of time in bed. NOTE2: If you think this will pump ice-cold water through your bed — dream on (literally). It cools to room temperature, not Arctic levels. If your AC is off, don’t expect this to replace it — it’s a cooling mattress pad, not a portable ice bath. 😉

Leaky Product
This mattress cooler has more leaks than my colander. It leaks in the back and in the front. The pad is very uncomfortable even with a mattress pad over it. It does cool the mattress though. I just can’t recommend it.

Leaks!!!
Update: NOT WORTH THE MONEY, started leaking after 5.5 months of use, regardless of proper maintenance!!! This has been a lifesaver this summer!! I don't have AC and have a hard time sleeping when it's hot, this keeps me cool all night!!! I’ve had it for 6 months and it’s still working perfectly! My suggestions are only use distilled water, add a few drops of bleach about once a week, and make sure you empty and rise the blanket part once a month .

Grateful
Constantly waking up at night due to being too hot was getting old. My first night trying 9/29/2024 gave me a really good night's rest. The lowest setting got too cold but it was great. Used my sheet and light comforter and it was WONDERFUL. Took me 5 minutes to set up, waited the 20 minutes for the water circulation into the pad, laid down and was happily surprised. I did cut a small hole in my sheet because I wanted to lay on the sheet versus directly on the cotton pad. I have a skinny nightstand and then a chair next to my bed and opted to put the machine on the back of the chair parallel to the wall just for more even flow of water. When I woke up this morning, I refilled to the 3/4 area so it's ready when I get off work. It does make noise but no more than my fan sitting on my dresser which I still use and a stays on 73 so others in the house don't freeze. I'm 55 (peri menopause), 5'9" tall and weigh 160 and workout daily. Not overweight but hormones are real :-). Will buy a second unit for my she-den which has a daybed where I might fall asleep watching TV on the weekends. EXTREMELY HAPPY SO FAR! I DID NOT WAKE UP SWEATY! VERY GRATEFUL!!!

Excellent Cooling for Hot Sleepers With Simple Setup Tweaks
5 starts if they can improve the comfort. I’ve been very happy with the Adamson B10 Gray Bed Cooling System after dialing in the setup a bit. Once adjusted, it has been extremely effective at controlling night sweats and keeping a consistent, cool sleeping surface. The key for me has been simple water maintenance. I add just a few drops of a laundry sanitizer additive to the water about once a week, which has completely prevented any odor or buildup issues. In addition, I lightly spray the fabric cover with a mold/mildew preventer and make a point to air out the cover every three months. For comfort, I added a thin twin-size quilted mattress pad protector/topper over the cooling pad. This made the surface noticeably more comfortable with a little reduction of the cooling effect. To keep everything aligned, I use adjustable sheet fastener suspenders underneath the mattress, which hold the layers firmly in place and prevent shifting. With these small tweaks, the system works exactly as intended. It provides excellent cooling, runs quietly, and has made a real difference in sleep quality for me as a hot sleeper. If you’re willing to do minimal maintenance and spend a few minutes optimizing the setup, this is a very effective and reliable bed cooling solution.

Wow! Just Wow!
Oh My God! This feels so good! So I selected this model for the price and that it seemed like it was not loud. (It is not loud). Also because I felt it would not bother my wife who did not need any cooling. She was tired of me running the fan overhead. She did not like the breeze. But I was a little anxious because one commentator had said the covering had a top side and a bottom side - which would force the user to place the cooling unit attached to the mattress cover to one particular side. But after examining the mattress cover, the thickness of the material is the same on either side. Though one side did kind of seem softer, I think that is because of how it had been rolled up or something and not a real difference in the sides. Which was great because I did want to use the 'back' side as my up side so that I could place the cooling unit on the left side of the bed (or the right side if you are at the foot of the bed looking toward the headboard). Also, though the directions recommend you place the unit above the mattress topper during operation, there are also extra directions for how to place it lower than the mattress topper if needed. My other concern was that the tubes in the mattress topper would bother me. I get bothered by the smallest crumb in my bed so I wondered how it would work. Well not really a problem! I slept better that first nite than I had in a long time. I do notice the tubes on my heels and so I tended to move my legs around until my feet were positioned in between the tubes for comfort. A small drawback really. Also the directions say you can add a mattress topper on top of it if you want to. This will reduce the cooling effect. However this will not be a problem for me because there are quite a few settings and I was on the lowest setting and it worked great! The lowest setting is just to have the pump on and not the cooling fan. So the water circulating through the topper was all I needed. I will try a comforter over top it tonight to see how it does since I did have to adjust my feet more than I wanted to. But I am not worried it will not be cold enough because there are 4 fan levels to use, not to mention even two settings where the fan will run for a short time and then stop for a short time as an in-between temp setting for the pump only and the slowest fan level. Wish I had known about this product earlier! I will mention that the plastic used is not the most robust. It does seem pretty cheaply made - but I picked it because it was not that expensive. I don't feel like it is going to break right away or anything. I think for what is does the price is quite good. I really like that there is a remote. You do seem to need line of sight however to use it. Update: Still working for me, I did put a thinish comforter over top to make the tubes less obvious, and that did increase the comfort level, though I would not say it is a requirement for everyone. Also I spray a little mold killer into the unit on a regular basis as I don’t plan on trying to deal with a monthly regiment of draining and drying.

Finally I am sleeping well!!!
Menopause sucks. After years of keeping my bedroom at 60 degrees with additional AC units, fans, bamboo sheets, etc, I found something that works! I didn't want to spend hundreds on the bed jet thing. But my husband was suffering in silence (sometimes audibly) about the cold bedroom meanwhile I still woke up sweating and hot. For the price, I decided to try this. I am very impressed. Pros: It works. It's simple and works. It's quiet..setup is easy. Oh. Did I mention it works? Cons: The fill indicator on the tank is a bit hard to see. So be warned, if you overfill it the water comes out the bottom. Also, not really a con, but I could not figure out how to set this up on my side of the bed so I had to switch sides with my husband. Now in hindsight I guess I could have just turned it over. There is no wrong side of the pad. But too late I've already installed it and we have switched sides lol! I am super happy with this purchase. I actually used a blanket last night! A blanket!!! And my husband is happy he no longer sleeps in a Siberian winter.
