How do you fit these clips to the webbing please??

You need to crimp the grips to the webbing using something like a vice or pliers. Be careful not to crimp the part that fits into the groove on the chair.

What degree angle are these clips as I need 45 degrees angled clips

I think 45º could describe these clips. I used them to connect to each end of strips of webbing in order to make a seat for a cushion in a 1950's wooden chair. The webbing fits between the teeth which you close (hammer and a block of wood) and then the the other edge fits into a groove in the wood at an angle that holds it in place.

You need a block of wood with a small grove cut into it and this is where you place the bit of metal that will eventually slot into your chair. Cur your webbing to fit between the front and back of your chair. The end of the webbing is placed between the the other two pieces of metal, one with a pointy bit and one with empty circles, the circle piece on top. After placing the webbing between these two bits of metal, with a hammer, you hammer the two pieces of metal together, holding the webbing firmly in place. You do this on each end of the webbing, making sure that the webbing is a bit shorter than the area between the front and back of the chair so it has to be stretched to fit into the slots. Your chair should have a slot along the front and the back piece of wood and this is where the bit of metal that you put into the grove of the wood block fits. The reason you need the wood block and the groove is so you do not flatten this piece of metal while you are hammering the metal pieces that hold the webbing. There will probably be a tutorial on Youtube that will show you. all this
