We had been using a faucet-mount filter, but then our faucet broke and the apartment changed it to a non-compatible faucet head. I was skeptical at first, but we’ve had if for a bit over a year and it’s worked pretty well. Our water is *very* hard, and this makes our water drinkable right from the tap. We recently changed the filter for the first time and the biggest issue was cleaning up the water from under the sink. I think this is a great option for those on a budget looking for something easy to install.

This is a good filter and lasted pretty close to the 12 months adverised for us. Time to change it though!) Canister change is a little difficult under the sink. not as flexible as I used to be. :)

Unable to open the water drop to replace the cartridge even with the tools provided.I’m not sure if the water drop casing forms a vacuum or if the hard water has built up too much to be unable to open the water drop filter canister after 9 months.Even with 2 of us twisting in opposite directions.Follow up:After posting my review Waterdrop has offered to refund the cost to my account. I am grateful they were willing to do so as it is not of benefit to me as it is.

Please avoid purchasing this filter. I initially bought the filter system, but I thought the filter was not included, so I purchased it separately. When I tried to open the canister with the tools provided, it wouldn't budge. I also sought help from a second person, but we both failed to open it.
