I ordered Glade Pet Fresh Scent (6.2 oz can) at the same time as these air fresheners. There really aren't specific directions with either. I finally figured out not to remove the white tab that is on tip of the area where the scent is ejected and be certain to place it in the space so that the white tab is facing outwards for the opening to spray. They work very well.
