In my new home I began to feed the backyard squirrels from my hand. Soon they got demanding and aggressive; climbing the main room window screen trying to get in. The original (nylon, fiberglass or something) was no deterrent; I caught that immediately before being ripped to shreds. I bought aluminum screens (can't find steel any more at the stores; all screens used to be steel!). They lasted a while but they eventually gnaw through. After internet search I found this product, thought I'd try it. It's been one month. The furry furries are gnawing and mangling the hell out of it, but so far not one breakthrough! It works - excellent product, strong. Good steel, but it is thinner than you might guess from the picture. If it stops squirrels it will work for any other rodent, if that is what you want it for. Good price too. I plan to buy some more soon.

Very tough heavy duty screen great for garden apartment windows that take abuse from lawnmowers. Easy to work with, with sharp edges so be careful. Also you’ll need several spare razor blades because it takes 1 blade per window trim.

Pretty good mesh. The only reason I'm taking off one star is it was cut very uneven on the end and this made the effective size smaller than it should have been by about 8 inches lengthwise. It is very sturdy and difficult to cut with a knife, even a very sharp razor blade doesn't want to cut so much as brute force tear. Highly recommend some very sharp extra sturdy scissors or a pair of tin-snips for cutting it out. I used it to cover up an open area under my deck that birds and wasps kept getting into and making nests. It worked pretty well for that except for the unevenness of the factory cut, which I didn't notice until I was fifteen feet in the air stapling it up to the underside of the deck with a staple gun... I had to double up the last section because of the angle of the factory cut. It's partly my fault for trying to do this by myself and not measuring BOTH sides... but it would have been an issue regardless.

Very thin and shiny screen. I was expecting a heavier duty screen and definitely not a reflection to attract moths! But it’s working to keep bugs out. Gonna paint it black.

I use this to redo the screen on my RV was very surprised on the quality. I used a scissor to cut it and it went through fine. Highly recommend this product.

It is a bit bright for using on a door or a window. However, this is my choice for using as a fruit dryer screen. Do NOT use aluminum screen for drying food, acidic foods will leach the aluminum. and NEVER use fiberglass screen, you don't want to eat fiberglass. Plastic screens can be used, if the temperature is kept to a reasonable level. Even then, they sag quite a bit. This stainless steel will not interact with the food, doesn't sag if stretched taught, and is easy to clean.

Another Chinese ridiculous imitation. This screen is a nightmare to work with. It doesn't cut. It is too thin for the spline to fit. It cuts your hands. Figure on wasting all your valuable time only to have to do it all over again. Shame on Amazon for selling it.

Great quality mesh as advertised

This screen is strong enough to resist my cats claws. I used the roll to replace 3 screens, 2 windows and a sliding screen door. I had some screen left over and used it in my latest sculpture. One roll of screen. A simple material yet so useful.
