I started using the SKALA Banana & Bacuri 2‑in‑1 Treatment Cream (1 kg) about a month ago, and I’m really enjoying it. It’s super creamy and smells delightfully tropical—think bananas with a hint of refreshing fruitiness. The texture makes it easy to work through my hair, and it leaves my curls soft, smooth, and noticeably shinier without any greasiness. It is very effective. This cream delivers serious moisture: it tames frizz and makes detangling so much easier, even after air-drying on humid days. It’s also strengthened my strands over time—less breakage, less split ends. Plus, with both banana and bacuri in the mix, it feels like a blend of gentle hydration and protein-rich nourishment. For the price, this jumbo jar is a fantastic value and has turned into a staple in my hair-care routine.

I adore this brand! I think this smells like bananas mixed with ginger and lemon. I kept reading reviews before purchasing and I was trying to figure out what I’d think it smells like. Well to me it’s smells like ginger, banana and a citrus fruit. It makes your hair very soft and I believe this brand can overtime make your hair very healthy. That’s the way it feels so far so I give it five stars.

*****EDIT**** Tis product is amazing. I have told anyone that asks about it. Leaves my curls soft after I scrunch the crunch. Smells amazing and provides definition to my curls. I get compliments left and right about my curls. This combined with my wrapping and plopping at night my curls can last 3x longer before wearing my hair up. I have not had the chance to use it and will edit my review for more stars if it's good but the packaging was garbage. While it was bubble wrapped and in a plastic bag that doesn't really matter if the lid isn't screwed on all the way or not correctly. So I guess this more has to do with Amazon warehouse employees. I am guessing they unscrewed the lid to smell it then didn't put it back on correctly because half the product was in the bubble wrap. And the product was upside down in the box just making the problem worse. 😒 Thank goodness it's a larger jar and it was wrapped well or else it would have made a mess of my entire box. Now as far as the product. It smells like heaven if you like the tropical banana thing. It has a good consistency and does not feel heavy from what I can tell from cleaning the jar off. I did a hot oil treatment last night and am planning on using today but so far there is nothing making me not want to use it like with some products after you get them and open them and they are just off putting. I would purchase again at this point, but Amazon if your listening/watching a bit more quality control at the packing level is much appreciated.
