Didn't work
This product did not work at all, which was such a bummer! I really wanted it to do its job, but it just didn't deliver. The most frustrating part? I couldn’t return it because I actually tried to make it work and ended up using the whole container. Such a waste! I wouldn’t recommend it if you're looking for something reliable.

Goodbye Deck Over!
We used the deck over product from Beher thinking it would last and preserve the wood……. Horrific to take off! Lots of scraping and power washing UNTIL we found a this gel based product! Apply- wait 2.5 hours and lightly scrape and power wash away! My back wishes we found this sooner!

Jug came missing 1/3 of product.
I just opened this product up and it’s not even full the liquid is up to my finger idk if that’s normal and the extra space was just added for the handle but I thought and expected it would be full when I ordered it

Yes it does remove paint .
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this to not only remove stain on my deck but also paint that is on our shed porch.I can’t say that the process of keeping the remover covered with plastic was a breeze (and it was breezy outside) but I did my best and the stripper did its best as well. The liquid is a bit thick and you need to use a roller or synthetic brush and avoid all metals.I put the fist test on a small spot for 30 minutes and though I could scrape it I decided to leave it 30 more minutes after applying a bit more product and that was much better and easier to remove (see video). So this may not be all that easy to use because of keeping the product from drying (covering it with plastic) while it is working and avoiding all metals it did work and worked pretty well.

Lemme tell you what the bottle doesn't!
First, the bottle was ⅓ empty, having leaked all over the box so I did get a refund. Also, this was liquid, NOT gel, because what the bottle doesn't tell you is that it needs to be shaken and even then, it's pretty much the color and consistency of a very specific, male, bodily fluid. Apologies if you're currently or about to eat.Spreading with a brush makes it too thin. You need to keep it from drying, which actually IS on the bottle. I used sheets of bubble wrap, bubbles down, to keep it from drying and a better chance of it staying in place, like when insulating a window and it sticks with just a spritz of water. Pour the "gel" , lay whatever plastic you're using and spread it under the plastic with a light brush of your fingers. Displacement's where it's at, better than a brush. Now, IF you've applied it thick enough and let it sit long enough (at least 6-8 hours for Behr Deckover) you'll see where it's bubbled once you lift the plastic and it comes up very easily with a plastic puddy knife. Don't fight with it, if it's not bubbled. Just reapply as described above. The square footage is a crock! Even with the leak, I barely got 30sf covered. So, it does work, once you shake it, pour it, spread it gently under the plastic, let it sit for several hours or overnight and have at the bubbled areas.Oh yeah, it's very slippery so be careful if you're doing a floor.I hope this helps!

Does not match the description.
Does not work as described in the instructions. A thick layer of paint does not come off completely. And a thin layer sticks to the spatula and is difficult to remove to continue working.

Works great on solid stain with a pressure washer
I was looking for an alternative to sanding my deck and this worked better than expected when combined with a pressure washer.

Made a mess
We are trying everything to get rustoleum deck restore off our deck. I was reallllly hoping this was the answer. All it did was make a gummy mess on what did scrape up.
