Bear Blender (D-700W with 4 blades, plastic cup)

I adore this blender--to the point that when I broke the pitcher (my fault, not a manufacturing or quality problem), I bought the whole thing all over again just so I wouldn't have to give it up, so I guess I have a spare base now. *laughs* I use this to make frozen protein smoothies with a mix of ice cubes, dry protein powder, almond milk, and frozen fruit. This little beast whips through it all to make a perfectly smooth, evenly blended frozen drink in less than five minutes; I'll run it for about a 45 seconds, stop, stir everything to make sure it's blending evenly and any chunks get down next to the blades, then run it for another 45-60 seconds and I'm done. It blends anything from ice to frozen fruit chunks down into a perfect consistency and texture; no large fragments or chunks left, but also not runny liquid slurry. (One small caveat: I use ice from a countertop ice machine, which has a hollow core and is bullet-shaped with less density/solidity than cubed ice from the freezer. Freezer ice cubes tend to be harder/more solid, so I can't speak for how well it does with those.) It's also really good at blending in the protein powder; I've had other blenders in the past where they just gunk the powder into sludge smeared along the walls of the pitcher, and make gummy lumps of undissolved powder that clog up the blades. This one doesn't do that at all; it mixes the protein powder very nicely so I don't even get that dry/grainy texture I get with blender bottles, etc. Personal to me, too, the pitcher is just the right size; I have a large 40oz insulated tumbler that I keep with me all day to sip at my protein shake, and the pitcher makes just enough to fill it just right without leftover or having to make multiple batches (though if I had a smaller tumbler, there are conveniently marked measurements on the side of the pitcher). Lastly, I like how easy it is to clean. Stuff doesn't stick to the walls or lid and it rinses off very cleanly, and the bottom is detachable so you can rinse it under the sink quite easily, and wipe the blades off with little risk of injury. Overall, it's a solid blender that's a good deal for the price, and so far it looks to be hanging in for the long haul.

I've used this blender for a few weeks, just so I can really get a feel for it before I reviewed it. There are a few drawbacks to this blender: you can't put the blender jar or lid in the dishwasher (which isn't mentioned in the product listing); it's not the easiest thing to clean; and the inside of the blender jar has several plastic lines running from top to bottom that I'm sure serve a purpose, but which make it difficult to use a spatula to scrape everything out. The good things: for an item at this price point, it's powerful; it really does a good job of breaking everything down, too. So far, I've made fresh salsa, marinades, chili sauces and similar things with it. I don't make smoothies, so I can't assess how well it does that. But if you want a reasonably priced small blender, this one isn't bad.

It worked fine for months. After that, the blade was getting harder and the motor was overworking. Contacted costumer service SEVERAL times without an answer (email, phone calls, text messages) Now the blade is loose and it leaks really bad. I purchased the item on March 2024. Beautiful item poorly made and terrible customer service.

melangeur tres bien fait. le mécanisme est tres solide et fait la job a 100%. jen ai racheter un 2eme pour un membre de ma famille et depuis, nous lutilisons chaque jour. 100% vaut la peine. je recommande a tous et se nettoie tres bien et cest securitaire également. fonctionne tres bien avec de la glace aussi !!! super prix!!
