Good materials and design and craftsmanship. By ordering a mailbox stand from the same company replacing my old weathered and undersized mailbox was a snap. The key is the purchase a stand that is compatible with the box, in this case a "B" style. Overall, I like a steel box over an aluminum box for durability. The box closes with a magnetic catch which I believe will function smoothly for a long time. The spring-based catches that are so common can eventually become less secure with repeated use. I like the size if this box compared to a medium box. More room for small packages and periodicals can fit diagonally inside. The sides are smooth, which makes it easy to lay out and attach self-adhesive letters and numbers.

Love the quality of this mailbox. Very sturdy metal construction and the magnet is an excellent feature to make sure that it stays closed. It was easy to install, because it was large enough to get the drill inside to screw in to the wood base. We have had no issues with our mail getting wet. It has worked great for us, my husband built the wood base for it. It is large enough for our mail and packages.

I bought this and the Architectural Mailboxes DPKX00AM Deluxe Drive-in Post, Aromatic Cedar as it was recommended together. I'm not sure why. I struggled with assembly and ended up having to make things up as I went in order to get it to work together. The mailbox itself is great. It closes easily and stays shut without having to force it. It looks as if it can take a good beating and still maintain it's look. Nice, quality material that feels like you paid a lot of money for it. I would just buy another post other than the one that's recommended.

Very sturdy and durable. Bigger than expected. Now most of the small package deliveries can fit in with the mail!

Enhancing the embellishment on the mailbox, brought out its natural beauty, which I did because it was all one solid color and needed a little enhancement

I just installed this mailbox and I have to say it seems to be a really good and sturdy mailbox. There's a couple pictures of the mailbox next to my white old mailbox and you can see how much bigger it is. The Postal Service wouldn't deliver packages to my house because they wouldn't fit in the mailbox, but with the mailbox this big I should not have any problems getting packages delivered. And I really love the magnet on the inside to help keep the lid closed. Everybody and the development had to buy new mailboxes because the old wood set up collapsed. So I went to go put my mailbox and it's spot today and it turns out that my neighbor who I'm good friends with actually bought the exact same mailbox and I just thought it was hilarious because there are so many different types of mailboxes and me and him both the exact same one and we both love them. Definitely worth the money

Nice study, big mailbox. All metal, including the door. Our last one had plastic around door and that broke off. With no way to fix it.

One side of the box had a Bent edge so it was Damaged and I would have returned the mailbox but the installation was in progress so I kept it but was not completely satisfied with the item
