Great product, saves buying all new cables for my phone

They do the job, firm fit in the device and a strong enough magnet for the connector and data connection is good.

I am reluctant to keep buying new devices because the old one won't charge anymore because the usb / lightning socket in the device has failed. These are great for solving that problem. Just plug the connector into the usb socket adn leave it in there. If you want it in there permanently, just put a tiny bit of electonics silicon around it to effectively 'glue' it in place (this partly waterproofs part of your device too) then charge anytime with the magnetic cable knowing that you are not further damaging your devices usb socket. There is enough powere for even power greedy devices providing you have a good wall usb plug. The rotating connector at the end of the cable that is so helpful and makes the whole thing pleasant to use is also its weak point - hence my four stars rather than five. That point can break with rough handling. A recommended product to increase the lifespan of you phones and tablets etc. PS they do not transmit data of course, so if you need to keep plugging into pc etc, these will not help.

Purchased on 17th of June 2024 Used to charge 42 watt Steam deck which is only used about once every 2 weeks. Lead was connected/reconnected infrequently. Stopped working on the 21st of October 2024. Performance was good when working, but quality is not good enough for long term use.

I bought the 60W version and I give it 5 stars because it actually works on my Minisforum V3. Several other magnetic cables I've tried from other vendors didn't work at all. This one also has a nice flexible cable, with decent rotation and angular movement on the tip, so it easy to move the laptop around freely. Others have thick cables that are too stiff to be useful, but this brand is definitely one of the better ones. The tip does stick out of my USB-C port ever so slightly, but it's only about 1mm or so, and is still sturdy enough not to worry me. I think that's an issue with the laptop itself rather than the plug.

...until you lose them! Fortunately I found these to act as a replacement for those lost by my Father's fumbling fingers. I can now keep a stock of 'tips' to go with his spare lead. It would be helpful if the manufacturers provided more than one spare.

I have only one had a phone with a damaged power socket. I junked the phone. These are brilliant although you have to be careful which type of cable connector and charging/data cable you want. I am happy with these for data and power connections to everything from insect killers, bodycam, bluetooth earphones and headphones as well as pir lights and a tablet. It comes with three connector types and I ended up buying 2 packs to cover all my kit. I also bought a cheaper set that was for power connection only. The cheap set also had shorter leads which I would really like to see on this kit.
