Short lifespan ... wiring isssues? Not worth the return

We use this to customize hats at our shop, the black stand/accompanying accessory is pretty much useless, as you cannot really perch an item on it but in came with a stuffed pillow thing that does trick. The main item, which is the press itself is perfect, great size works perfectly

I have had this product for about 6mos and use it very frequently to make trucker hats. Well today when I was working on orders the heat presser sparked from the metal plate and my hat I was working on caught on fire. Prior to this incident I would’ve given the product five stars. I didn’t change my routine when using it always keep it on the medium heat setting.

This was a great value compared to the expensive name brand units. It is built really well and super easy to use. It heated up quickly and maintained temperature throughout the project. It’s lightweight and ultra portable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who does a lot of crafting, especially hats.

I'm giving it four stars, because I never got to honestly try the product. It was just too big and I decided against it so I sent it back, but I'm sure it would do exactly what it's made to do. This company is great.
