Darn Tough Vermont Men's Darn Tough Socks

Amazing socks. I've never actually owned any 'expensive' clothing before with most of it being cheap or second hand, so getting these was astounding. I took them for a short hike, only ~6 KM, but as a very sweaty person (the crack is like a waterfall and the feet, well, like a marshy swamp usually) that can get me pretty soaked, even without rain. Pairing the socks with some Gehwol foot cream, I noticed virtually no sweat. Any sweat that was there was absorbed by the socks, wicked away like nobodies business, and didn't actually get noted until I took them off. The sweat dried fast after that, and the socks were good as new. Smell fine, etc. I can't speak for durability since I've only worn them a couple of times, and not for any more than a few KM at once, however they're beyond comfortable and to my awareness, have a lifetime guarantee. Literally, lifetime. So, go and buy a pair and you'll have socks for life. Literally. Unless you break them purposefully, in which case you're a butt.

Both my son and his partner love these socks they're the best very warm but not too thick to make fastening boots or walking shoes difficult.

I'm wearing these socks while i train for through hiking South America next year. Because of the number of miles that i'm walking carrying a pack, the seams on my usual socks are causing pressure on my toes. I bought these socks to see if they make any difference. I walked 12 miles yesterday carrying a pack and i'm much more comfortable wearing these socks. So far so good :)

Excellent socks. Bought first pair as a "trial", and then bought second pair. Used both on the Jurassic Coast Challenge - walked 36 miles in 16 hours from Poole to Weymouth. Most comfortable socks ever.

Used 2 pairs for a 5 day trek. Very comfortable and even padding around the foot. Kept their shape. Aired overnight, very little smell. Would highly recommend.

The 4 stars are because the seller sent the wrong colour. The product itself is great, comfortable and both warm when needed and cooling when it’s warmer. Sorted a blister problem I was having with synthetic socks.

Ridiculously comfortable and guaranteed for life, socks simply don't get better than this. No seams to cause blisters. No rucking under the sole. Ample padding on the sole to cushion the feet on long hikes. They are expensive, for socks, but in the long run I believe they will be worth every penny.
