So I'm a Spider, So What?, Vol. 1 (manga)

This comic is incredibly entertaining. The main character is really relatable despite being a giant spider. The writing is great and the original novels it's based on must be really good though I've never read them. The art style is really enjoyable as well and I love the little funny callbacks to other comics and pop culture.

Loved the manga, ended up purchasing half of them in person, and then the other half digitally. As well as the novels, it’s that good!

This series brings an interesting twist to the whole Reincarnated in Another World as such and such trope. The protagonist seems to be weak and has to use her lesser skills to outwit other weak monsters just to survive. Definitely worth the read if you like stories like That Time I was Reincarnated as A Slime, but want a little less God More in the story.

On my TBR, but at least I own it and can pick it up whenever. After watching the anime I wanted to read both the light novels and manga.

It’s a fun isakai story. I enjoyed the humor of this spider trying to min-max their way to survival.

It really is my favorite series. Kumoko (which isn't her name at all) is so cute. Her reactions are hilarious, and she is surprisingly real when it came to dealing with frustration. Bought the series so I could take it everywhere.

Realy good isekai manga its not a typical isekai protagonist that op with no thinking. The main character has to fight like a spider to survive useing the abilities a spider. The main character interesting and gets into intense battles and feels like a person and funny at times too. just read all 6 the manga out so far this manga wont disappoint. Also the anime adaptation will be out soon

An excellent "in-another-world" adventure with an entertaining spin that the mangaka conveys to winning effect. A fantastic illustrated expansion on its light-novel source material. Gotta be one of my favorites.

Lo primero que se le tiene que decir a los nuevos lectores es que esta historia requiere "paciencia" esta es una historia que avanza lenta pero firmemente, se tomara su tiempo para crear su mundo y establecer a sus protagonistas y su crecimiento de poder (así que si esperas una historia en la que los personajes son todo poderosos sera mejor que busques otro manga). Otra cosa es que en comparación con la novela el manga no comenzó adaptar los capítulos extras (tienen protagonistas diferentes) hasta los volúmenes mas nuevos así que esta sera una historia de nuestra araña solitaria por mucho tiempo. El genero al que pertenece este manga es una con uno clichés muy establecidos tales como el Prota OP, harem instantáneo y un protagonista diseñado para la autoinserción (personalidad muy poco definida y sin objetivos aparentes). En cambio esta novela nos narra las batallas de nuestra protagonista que después de morir por una misteriosa explocion en su salón de clase reencarna como una araña en un mundo de fantasía, todo saldría bien sino fuera por dos cosas ella reencarno en un calabozo plagado de monstruos y como un monstruo de las especies mas débiles del mundo así que si ella quiere sobrevivir (lo cual quiere) tendrá que emplear todo su intelecto humano y coraje en ello. Esta historia no es del todo oscura pues veras a nuestra araña reír y tener esperanza pero a su vez la veras sudar, llorar y derramar su propia sangre para cumplir su deseo (mantenerse con vida), ella tiene una personalidad bien definida con miedos, sentimientos y deseos lo que la separa de la gran mayoría de protagonistas de este genero. Contiene una gran cantidad de referencias a otros mangas o cultura japonesa bastante bien utilizados para su comedia. Como ultima advertencia su tu bienes a este manga buscando momentos picantes ya sea fanservice, chicas monstruo (a lo monster musume) ó un argumento sencillo de seguir (mas adelante este volumen es solo el prologo) sera mejor que busques en otra dirección, este manga solo te ofrecerá una araña cute, comedia inteligente y suspenso por la seguridad de la protagonista.

ÓTIMO MANGÁ! casual e divertido pra caramba! Traço muito bem expressivo e uma personagem com ótimo carisma cômico.

Good series

We got a very sympathetic Main Charachter (MC), a nice dungeon to suffer through and really rare sense of actual danger and tension, because the MCs of other reincarnate-stories often get a crazy OP ability, or a bunch of sidekicks to cancel ot there weaknesses. Nope, our little actually cute spider has only one advantage, her human brain. I can't believe, that I refer to spider as cute... well, she is. The manga throws everything that makes a RPG at us. Skilltrees, levelling, carefully planning, overcoming powergaps with strategy (even when you are nearly dead already) What really grabs my attention, is, that the MC is the only real character to be seen. And she doesn't bore me out! The monsters, that attack her all the time, have no personaltity and fixed behaviourpatterns, so they don't help much in that matter, but I'm glad about it, because other stories featuring this trope mostly are bloated with boring sidecharacters, with no speakable personality, that support the MC. Despite that fact, I hope, that this little spidergirl finds a companion, or a pet, maybe. She deserves it. In short: I'm eager to read the next part.
