I love this eyeshadow palette! I had been looking for a pigmented non-shimmery rainbow color palette for a couple months and finally found this one last week. The mini in the name is misleading... it’s not really a mini/travel sized palette. I guess it’s mini in the fact that it is 10 shades and not like 20+ like other rainbow palettes. I included a photo of this palette next to a 3 shade palette and my HP Sprocket for size comparison. It will easily fit in a travel sized make-up bag though. These are great shades if you are wanting bright colors. I wish the purple color was more of a royal purple, but it goes on more of a fuschia color. And the reddish shade is what I call raspberry - more of a reddish pink. They are pretty shades, but I was hoping for a true purple and true red. I swatched the shades on my inner arm and tested a few on my eyes so far. They are pretty pigmented, which I was wanting. I do feel like they were more opaque when I put the shadows on over my eye primer, but I always use eye primer anyway. If you want a softer look, don’t use an eye primer. I think they are super smooth in texture. They applied easily too. I think all the shades are useable together in various combinations. They layer pretty easily too. Meaning you can use different shades without them overtaking the other colors. They also remove easily. I use micellar cleansing water make up remover and I had no problems taking the colors off. I use soap and water for my make-up brushes and had no problems cleaning the brushes. FYI - no brush or applicator included. It’s not supposed to come with one, but in case you’re expecting one to be included, don’t. I didn’t care because I use Real Techniques eye brushes. The price at $5 for 10 shades is amazing. That’s only 50 cents per shade. I have purchased single eye shadows the same size give or take for more. Definitely worth the cost IMO. I recommend this if you’re wanting non-shimmery bright pigmented color eyeshadow.

I happened to have just finished watching YouTube Beauty Guru Emily Noel's review of this eye shadow palette when I was placing an Amazon order and looked this product up. She'd done such an incredible eye look with this ridiculously affordable palette, and at $5 for 10 shades, I didn't hesitate to throw it in my cart. When I received it, I was immediately impressed by the size of the shadow pans. Holy cow! I've spent $50 for much less product from other cosmetics lines. But...would it perform? Would it be easy to apply and blend? Would the colors stay true and not turn into a muddy mess? Would there be little to no fall-out all over my face? Would these shadows last all day without having to use a bunch of other products to prep and prime my eyes? Well, the answer to all of these questions is YES! I have been using this palette 1-2 times a week for the past two months and I still can't believe the results I get. I am as happy to reach for this palette as I am any of my Urban Decay, Anastasia BH, Tarte, Morphe, Lorac, Too Faced or Nars palettes and I think that says a lot. Don't let the "Smoky" name scare you. These are excellent everyday kinds of colors that look amazing with my dark brown eyes. Sure, you can amp up the "smoke" with the excellent matte black shadow, which works as a terrific liner too, which makes this an excellent "day to night" type of palette. The plummy purple color is definitely my favorite but I would classify this as a solid neutral palette with a little oomph! The colors are more varied than the picture shows. Definitely more distinction between the shades than as pictured which really adds to its versatility. Whether you have a zillion different eye shadow palettes or are just wanting a great, easy to work with daily type of palette, for $5 this one is a real winner. Now I need the $5 Profusion Blush Palette Emily also recommended. Great palette, great price!

I really like the color and blendability of this pallette. It applies easy and I like the size. No complaints on this item but be careful it doesn’t arrive broken!

I borrowed this pallet from a friend and let me tell you what - the pigmentation is fantastic. It's far better value for your money than some other more pricy brands and blends perfectly. I used for my druid outfit at Ren faire and the vivid colors lasted all day. I went ahead and ordered a second set in browns as well.

For the everyday taupey shades that I use, I'm willing to spend some money, because I'll appreciate an excellent formula every day. But I wanted a rainbow palette to play with from time to time, and I didn't want to blow 50 bucks on something I probably wouldn't wear in public. I had seen some good reviews of Profusion's 10-pan palettes, so when I saw how incredibly cheap this was, I figured I'd try it. I am not disappointed. The colors are pretty well-pigmented; not pressed pigment-level pigmentation, but applied damp, or with your fingertip, you can get really intense color. They will wear down a bit with a lot of blending, but it's not like some I've tried where they just disappear when you start blending them. Some of the colors are a bit staining, which I noticed more on my fingertips than on my eyes. I do wish this palette had either a white or black shade, rather than the brown--I mean, who needs another brown eyeshadow?--but overall, I feel like this was totally worth the five bucks.

Colors are very pigmented. Perfect violet shades that mix and match well together to meet any purple wardrobe item.
