Used these for years, great product . Most recently used for a marine audio complete audio rebuild. Added shrink wrap as well. Installed for a couple months , havnt noticed any rust or detoriation. Much better price than the local auto stores.

Needed to wire my Lionel FastTrack and these fit the bill. It took some practice to know best place to squeeze for strongest grip and ease of attaching to track.

In order to convert my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system into a passive set of speakers, I needed among other things to connect 16 gauge speaker wire to the positive terminal of the subwoofer's speaker. One firm crimp was all it took to marry this 0.11" connector to the 16 gauge speaker wire for life. I guess a belt-and-suspenders person could crimp and solder. But really there is no need. Crimp it and enjoy the music.

These are perfect for the small terminal of most speakers. Fits nice and tight, but not too tight. The order came in fast too.

the plastic collar I don't know if they are intended for use other than identifying the wire gauge, but I always take them off before crimping because the cause questionable crimps.

16 gauge speaker wire inserted easily. Crimped on very well. The only drawback was that it took a bit of work to slide it onto the speaker terminal because the fit was really tight. Overall, it does the job.
