Being able to start with the basics of embroidery by learning the necessary equipment needed to do the craft, and the introductory stitches to create masterpieces, this book has it all! I highly recommend the book to all who want to learn the art of embroidery, as well as gain insight into different types of medium to create the art, as well as varying styles of artwork. I follow many of these authors on Instagram, and was so excited when I saw that they have created this book! It has a nice variety of projects, wonderful, expert suggestions, and a full glossary of stitches and directions regarding how to learn them. Can’t wait to start my first project!

This is a great book for anyone interested in embroidery.There is a guide that breaks down the different stitches. I think it's a really nice option for people that learn better through reading than they do watching. This book describes how to do each stitch with photos alongside showing what is being described.The bulk of the book, however, is dedicated to different projects, showing embroidery on a host of different materials. I like that it includes patterns that you can copy and then walks you through the products step-by-step.It's a large book with thick pages and vibrant colors. Anyone who is really crafty and wanting to learn the art of embroidery will enjoy it. It would make a great gift item for the crafty person in your life.
