This is a great book for beginners picking up the uke. Good range of songs - possibly aimed at me (mid-40s). Range from very easy to tricky - like the fact that it shows you the starting note to get started in the right key.

This is a book of well known songs that I bought recently as an adult beginner teaching myself to play ukulele.i think this book will be excellent for me once I have mastered the basic chords..some songs I can play now.This book does not teach you to strum or any method learning but it does have a variety of well known songs and diagrams of chord shapes. So should keep my interest as I progress

A variety of songs to suit all tastes

This is a good selection of classic pop hits. A few are easy to play with just 3 or 4 chords and suitable for a beginner but most are more complex. They would form a good basis for building a sing-a-long repertoire once you have the basics under your belt.

Lovely book, clear print, fun to play, great for sight reading, makes practice more interesting. Just frustrated I cannot find a piano accompaniment part.
