As someone who has struggled with diy nails, this has been wonderful! For those who are new to poly gel or nails in general, I have found a few tips I believe can be helpful to others.1) You only need a tiny tiny bit of slip solution (rubbing alcohol works just as good). Sometimes I noticed even when I thought I had the tiniest amount of solution, it was still too much.2) Start with a pea sized amount of gel and adjust as you go. It is always easier to add than it is to take away.3) Flash cure the poly gel in the nail form BEFORE application! Flash curing is a minimum/maximum of 2-10 seconds under uv light to both sides. The time needed depends on how much gel you are using and your uv light so it may take a bit of trial and error to figure out the sweet spot. This prevents the poly gel from moving and slipping too much during nail application which can cause build up under the nail like some have experienced and weakness at the apex which can cause the nail to be flimsy and break easier. Flash curing is not a full cure so it is still able to be shaped with more durability to it.4) You can set the flash cured nails to the side and work on a full set before applying them for a full cure.5) Make sure you are removing all debris from your nails and that the cuticles are pushed back and neatly clipped. This includes your side wall cuticles as well. (Though this is usually already well known, it's still a good reminder. :)Hope this helps all you beautiful diy ladies.Happy nail care!

I love this product too much if you want to stop spending money on nail salons this is the perfect kit for you at first it was difficult to manipulate the product but after you practice it becomes easier and easier I do my nails myself at home with the molds that the kit brings and everyone asks me who made my nails because of how beautiful they are RECOMMENDATION: buy the kit that the drill brings it is easier to shape it and file imperfections

This was amazing. I tried it for the first time ever and was surprised with how easy and fun it was. I only took a star away because the plastic nail molds aren’t very large, they fit all my nails except for my thumbs. So if you have larger nail beds I would buy a separate kit that has bigger nail sizes. Besides that I’m very happy with how they came out.

It’s strong a works great even when it’s just a thin layer . The other kits I’ve tried I had issues like weak gel and it came off within minutes and it was so brittle. But this one is so strong and pretty and smooth, the lamp is amazing for how small it is. Topically it’s a flash cure lamp but tbh this works the same as any other nail lamp and faster to. I love it. I will definitely buy more of these polleygels . If I could give 10 stars I would. It’s worth it and beginner friendly and the slip solution actually works unlike some kits .

Really impressed with this product. You need to have a lot of patience. If you use the black nail files in the box, know that the black color will bleed onto your nails 🤦🏻‍♀️ 10/10 would recommend

I got this in the mail yesterday and decided to get right to work because I saw in the reviews that it took others around 4-5 hours to complete a set. Thankfully it only took me about 2 hrs!This set comes with literally everything you need. Products are all pretty good quality and I’ve had no issues (course I’ve only used it once though lol)It’s difficult to work with polygel if you are 100% a beginner. I watched TikTok tutorials before I even started, that way I’d have a better idea of the process. HELPED A TON!A couple issues I ran into was that the nail sizers (can’t remember what they are called) didn’t fit my thumbnail. Even the biggest size was too small. I will say I have wider nail beds so it’s been a struggle with press-on nails in the past. But I do think that’s why the polygel seeped out more around my nail edges…I do wish they had more size variety. There were only 9 different sizes which seemed few considering press-on nails usually go up to 15+ different sizes.The other issue I had was the nail sizer/polygel wouldn’t stay on my nail bed before curing under the lamp. It kept falling and pulling up off the nail and if it did that while under the uv lamp than it would create air bubbles/pockets with missing gel. I’m assuming that’s user error but wanted to include that in the review so others can be aware that it might happen.Overall my advice would be to not expect to be a pro at it the first couple times, and don’t expect it to come out perfect either. I did slowly get better with each nail I did, just by getting used to the technique and learning how much of the gel to use.The kit does comes with regular nail clippers but I think I’ll eventually buy the nail clippers meant for acrylic nails (where you can cut long nails down in one clip) again can’t remember the actual name of those. Because it took quite some time to clip and file the gel down to a length and shape I was used to.I also love the color variety and can’t wait to try more colors! The ones I did was in the white shade, came out more clear than white but I’m still happy with it! The tubes of gel had a decent amount in them too which was nice…definitely hard to squeeze out though.Anyways the nails look great from a distance but when you get close and really ''look” at them than they definitely look less professional 😂 but either way I love that they should last about 3 weeks without any issues! After living with press-on nails for years this will be really nice!!Maybe I’ll update this in a few weeks with how the nails held up!

It's really 3.5 but I can't do half a star. After reviewing this product I decided to buy it. Good things: the gel is easy to maneuver (with some practice), the instructions are easy to follow, the gel sets/dries perfectly, the quality is not bad, and the nails are strong. The things that didn't work for me: the nail clip is very cheap (use your own), the base coat doesn't dry but that doesn't affect the overall outcome, the top coat doesn't dry so I used my own top coat and that worked perfectly. This product does have a learning curve, so be patient. I am also working on the sides, and learned to use a size larger and then wipe off the excess gel and file it once dry. The base coat, top coat and matte coat bottles are TINY. Overall, I don't hate it but I don't love it. It works with minor adjustments and will hold you over until you can get in the salon. I do not regret this purchase.
