It's my own fault but the Description wasn't explicit: this is not a wifi device. As such, it plugs into a single PC or MAC (only) and connection is made via USB itself. Wifi just doesn't feature. So, if you want this as a means to connect (say) your car's Satnav to the Internet for real-time traffic information, and your Satnav is expecting a Wifi signal, this won't provide it. Not even close. My other gripe is that the instruction booklet provided is tiny. I can read most print sizes but I'm well into magnifying glass territory here. There's no online version that I could find. Still, it's a neat little package so if you can use it, I've no reason to doubt its quality.

Purchased to plug into a TPLink Deco router as a mobile backup and it works flawlessly. It actually turned out that the mobile internet is better than the BT ADSL so we’ve cancelled the copper and now run solely from the mobile data!

Purchased this in preparation for the 3G network being turned off. However only functions when plugged directly into Laptop! Wanted to plug it into my TP-Link router for convenience to allow multiple computers and allow my printer to function. It also used up the last USB port . Have managed to get it to work with the router once but it stops the printer working. Also it does not automatically connect on power-up. Will keep it a a backup.
