Hi, coffee making virgin here. Am I right in saying that I can grind my own coffee beans in a seperate grinder, then add to this, then add hot water?

Hi Kieran, yes your absolutely correct. You can buy a coffee grinder separate and grind your own beans. Or you can buy ground coffee from the shops. Yes, you then add hot water, stir gently then leave for 3-4 minutes, gently plunge, then serve. Hope this helps

Hi. You don't need any filters. It has a metal filter in it. You should ideally use a rough grind coffee but any kind of ground coffee will do. French presses are great for starters though so I'd definitely recommend this as a starting point.

I wash mine either in the dishwasher or handwash it. Both are fine for the glass and the plunger/ filter.

is it possible to make one large cup of coffee with the 8cup or you will have to make more?

It will make 4 mugs of coffee or 8 small cups
