From the outset I want to say that I am an avid Apple fan and love the products and how they seamlessly work together. I state this as I am going to make a bold statement about this ESR Pencil in that I actually prefer it over Apple’s own Apple Pencil. I know this is a bold statement but let me tell you why. So far Apple Pencil has been the only choice really if you wanted a seamless and trouble free setup and interaction. The ESR pencil does the same and then some. The ESR Pencil comes in a little box with 2 replacement pencil nibs and a replacement capacitive tip as well as a charger for those people whose iPad does not support wireless charger. The pencil lies comfortably in your hand and, just like an Apple Pencil, connects seamlessly to your iPad by just connecting it to your magnetic charge port alongside your iPad (For those iPads that have this). You have three little light dots that show the charge state of the pencil. So once you have connected it to your iPad you can use it straight away and it works just like an Apple Pencil. The only difference as far as I work out is that it doesn’t support double tab to change between writing and erasing but this is a small sacrifice to make. The pencil works without lag and as opposed to the Apple Pencil the capacitive tip at the back of the pencil allows you to control your touchscreen as if you were using your finger which I found very delightful and super useful. Having used this for a few days I have to admit that this is something I would miss and now that I have it would not want to be without. I have an Apple Pencil 2 but actually enjoy using this one more and would say that this will now become my main driver moving forward. Looking at the specifications this pencil offers 10hrs of use with a 1,5hr Charging time and as it charges wirelessly whilst magnetically connected to your iPad you won’t run out of charge easily. In Summary: This is a fantastic accessory that in most ways is better (in my opinion) than the Apple Pencil and let’s not forget that this pencil costs a lot less than the original. I have to admit that I am very impressed with this product and can only recommend it to anyone who would like to have a superbly made but reasonably priced apple accessory to compliment their Apple device.

I have been using an iPad with an Apple Pencil for the past 6 years, and I absolutely adore it. However, when I discovered that ESR had released their own version of the pencil, at a significantly lower price, I was initially skeptical. But let me tell you, I couldn't have been more wrong. This ESR pencil is on par with the original, if not better, especially considering the price difference. One of the standout features of this pencil is its magnetic charging capability, just like Apple's original. Gone are the days of dealing with external wires and unnecessary hassle. It effortlessly charges on the side of the iPad and even displays the battery level. The only minor difference I noticed was a slight delay when switching from charging mode to usage mode. However, after a few moments of use, this delay became virtually unnoticeable. Additionally, ESR has thoughtfully included a USB C charging station for the pen, which is a nice bonus for my desk. Although I personally feel that the native charging feature makes it unnecessary. As you can see from the pictures I've shared, this pen performs just as well as the Apple Pencil when it comes to note-taking apps, and there is no noticeable latency on my 11" iPad Pro. The bottom of the pen is a delightful addition, and I found myself enjoying the ability to spin the pencil around to navigate my device. I'm certain that as time goes on, there will be even more creative uses for this feature. To sum it all up, I am thoroughly impressed with this ESR pencil, as I always am with their products. If you haven't yet invested in an Apple Pencil and are hesitant to spend the money, I highly recommend considering this alternative. It delivers exceptional performance and functionality at a fraction of the cost.

So having bought an ESR pencil many years before which worked perfectly with my iPad (until it just stopped), I decided to get this 2nd gen one. Only it would not switch on. ESR support were helpful and suggested I charge it for 20-30 minutes before trying to switch it on. 2 hours later: nothing. Dead. I emailed ESR support who were very prompt at sending me a replacement. EXACT SAME SCENARIO happened with the replacement. I’m puzzled and disappointed.

I have used the stylus now for a few days and am very impressed so far. It has a good magnetic charger and also magnetically attaches to the side of my iPad Pro 11" where it then will also charge. Looks very stylish and, whilst it feels a little "thin" in my hand, it writes very comfortably. Weight wise, it feels substantial without feeling bulky, so ideal really. I think I'd prefer a slightly more gripper feel to its surface; if you hands are dry it feels very very smooth to the touch. I do however think it is a worthy challenger to the far more expensive Apple Pencil. Only time will tell how it pans out with long term use but for my infrequent use, I am very pleased. The included charger is very capable and the extra tips will ensure long term cost reduction! Like others, I would definitely recommend giving it a go if the Apple Pencil is just too pricey to stomach.

I bought this pen in early 2024, and sadly, I managed to get through the extra nibs just now. I must say that their nibs are superior to any other nibs I've tried on the market. Sadly, I couldn't find replacement nibs on their website so I got in touch with them. I must say, their customer support is top notch! They sent me replacements so I can continue using my pen. I don't think I'll ever go to a different brand. I also bought my phone and ipad cases from them. They're also amazing.

Gemakkelijk in gebruik, vlotte connectie

The product works fine. It said it was made of aluminium in the description, this is a lye, it is plastic. Also it says it works with iPad Air 2024 (m2), this is half the case. The stylus works fine, but the wireless charging function doesn’t work on the m2 air, so instead you have to use a cable (does charge fast through). Hope this helps!

Die Handhabung ist angenehm leicht und präzise, egal ob zum Schreiben, Zeichnen oder Navigieren. Besonders praktisch ist die magnetische Haftung, wodurch er immer griffbereit bleibt. Die Reaktion auf dem Display ist zuverlässig und fühlt sich natürlich an, ohne spürbare Verzögerung. Insgesamt ein durchdachtes Zubehör, das den Alltag mit dem Tablet deutlich komfortabler macht.

Produkt nie jest zgodny z opisem na stronie Amazon. Zdjęcia przedstawiają zupełnie inna rzecz, niż ta, która jest sprzedawana. Co prawda rysik działa i łączy się z iPadem, natomiast nie działa ładowanie bezprzewodowe + rysik ma port USB C, gdzie na zdjęciu jest go pozbawiony na rzecz bezprzewodowej ładowarki magnetycznej. Produkt już zwróciłem działał okej, natomiast brak najważniejszej dla mnie funkcji go wyklucza. Zalecałbym zmianę zdjęć produktu, aby uniknąć nieporozumień w przyszłości.

商品は見た目も触り心地も機能もとても良いです。充電中はペンの頭？部分がゆっくり点滅するのもカッコ良く、iPadのマグネット充電が使えてとても快適です。一点だけ残念ポイントは、ペンの側面にあるUSB-Cのコネクタキャップ、ゴム栓が1ミリ弱飛び出ています。そのゴム栓の面はマグネットでiPadにペタッと貼りつけて充電をする面なので、そこにキャップが飛び出ているときちんと貼り付きません。ゴムキャップを取るか、ゴム栓のセリ出ている耳のような部分をカッターで全周切り取って、ゴム栓をUSB-Cにグッと押し込んで使うかの2択です。唯一の難点はそれだけです。ちなみに私はゴム栓の全周の出ている部分をカッターで切り取りぐっと押し込んで使っていて今は快適です。気にならない人はゴム栓を外しておけば良いだけのことだと思いますけど。※画像は処置後の様子です。
