These are great compared to normal iron supplements. The flavor is good and I mix it into his milk and you can’t even taste it.

I use this for myself! It tastes AMAZING. After years of taking gummies or Iron pills, my iron never improved. I go to the Dr every 2-4 weeks and get tested OFTEN for my iron. The pills never worked. I have an ileostomy so my system struggles to break down pills or gummies. I took this for a week and for the first time in 7 years, they finally told me my iron levels were normal! And guess what!! So were my energy levels! This work for adults too, apparently :) never been happier to have an iron supplement that actually gets absorbed into my system. It tastes AMAZINGGGG. A small bit of metallic taste, but overall good. I bought another one for adults that tasted NASTY. So this is definitely my favorite and actually worked!

Due to exclusively breastfeeding, and my baby being premature, I was advised to give iron supplements. (As premature babies don't have as much iron stores and breast milk does not provide iron like formula does). In the past when using Iron supplements I have used Poly vi Sol with iron. Which I can tell you is the the most rancid smelling and tasting supplement ever created. (It also stains everything it touches. And if you happen to get it on fabric it will pretty much smell of metal forever). Wellements iron drops absolutely taste and smell significantly better! (Still will stain though!) But if it's iron you need for your baby, your baby (in my opinion) is most likely going to prefer this. It tastes better and seems to digest better. (poly vi sol would always make my babies spit up). However! That said. It's important to note that this supplement ONLY contains Iron. PolyViSol contains a number of other important vitamins as well as Iron which are important for your baby. If your pediatrician is specifically saying you only need to supplement Iron. This is an excellent choice! However if your pediatrician is recommending other supplements as well, you might be better off using PolyViSol as it likely contains the additional supplements you may be asked to give baby. So. As an Iron vs Iron. I would definitely pick this brand. Due to its flavor and tolerability on my infants stomach. If I needed more than just Iron however I would definitely weigh the pros and cons of if it is easier to just do it all at once with PolyViSol. Or would it be better to do this Iron supplement and an additional supplement with the other vitamins that may taste nicer/easier to stomach.

Wish it came with a dropper so you don’t have to draw it up in a syringe.

Came packed well with no leaks. Good quality. Iron never tastes good, but I am able to put this in apple juice and my son drinks it with no problems.
