Great!
Works good! We use it in our garage during Minnesota winters to keep the moisture down. We also run a heater at about 45 degrees.

Great dehumidifier to reduce moisture level at basement
I recently bought this dehumidifier for my basement, which had high moisture levels and a noticeable mildew smell. We consulted a professional water restoration company, and they recommended getting a dehumidifier to reduce the moisture. Initially, I was considering the AprilAire brand, but the price difference of nearly $300 made me give this unit a try. After using it for two weeks, I am pleased with its performance. One of the things we have noticed is its efficiency. Within a few days of running it, our thermometer showed a significant reduction in moisture levels. The basement smell also improved significantly, and the unit consistently extracted a couple of gallons of water every few days. Additionally, the dehumidifier operates quietly, which is an important factor to consider. Even during quiet nights, I can barely hear any noise from it. After a few weeks, I reached out to customer service and purchased a separate remote controller for added convenience. This remote control allows me to control the dehumidifier from a distance without having to physically go to the unit. In summary, I am highly satisfied with this dehumidifier. It resolves the moisture problem in my basement, operates quietly, and the convenience of the remote control makes it an exceptional choice.

Works great at removing moisture, reliable
The media could not be loaded. I got this dehumidifier to address the moisture issue in the crawl space. After setting it up with a pump and drainage tube, it has been extracting significant amounts of moisture from our crawlspace every day, making the living space much more comfortable. The settings are intuitive, easy to use and shows accurate humidity level, which gives me peace of mind.

Great product
I live in the Carolinas where summers can be brutally humid. Our crawl space was reading 90% RH and we needed a dehumidifier that was not only large enough for our space but also DIY to setup and maintain. This unit worked great — it took about a week to get down to 55% RH and it kept it there all summer.

Dehumidification is fast
I bought this commercial dehumidifier because my home was recently affected by a hurricane and the furniture and walls were very damp and smelled moldy. I tried my old 70pint unit and it didn't work. But this 113pint dehumidifier works great and it didn't disappoint me.After five days of continuous operation, the basement was bone dry with a relative humidity of 38% and the musty odor was completely gone. The air was hot, but I expected that.I then proceeded to use the dehumidifier in other rooms of my home, but before doing so, I cleaned the filter located behind the air inlet grill. There was a thick layer of drywall dust on top of the filter, but I was able to rinse it clean with my garden hose and let it air dry.Later, I fixedly installed this unit in the basement, and contacted customer service to buy a few filters for future replacement. The customer service told me that I could buy an additional remote controller, so that I could control the unit in the basement in the living room. I think it is a good idea, the seller gave me a discount. After I bought the controller and installed it, it was really convenient.

low energy consumption
Before pruchased, I was worried that such a large commercial dehumidifier would cause my home electricity bill to increase a lot.To my surprise, I did not see a significant increase in energy usage when I logged into the website of my power company. Before using it, the daily electricity consumption in my home was about 22-28kwh. During the period of use, I let the machine work for 5-6 hours a day to dry the room, and the daily electricity consumption hardly exceeded 30kwh. So, even though its rated power is 680 watts according to the manual, it uses far less. The listed input power of 360 watts must be accurate. Thus, it is not as power-hungry as I feared according to the specifications in the manual, and it is cleverly programmed to save energy. In the first few days, I set a target humidity of 30% and let it cycle by itself. After the furniture and walls in the house were repaired, I set the humidity at around 45%, which is comfortable for people.I am an electric worker,so I know the exact meaning of rated and input power and I know now better why my energy use was lower than expected. Rated power is the maximum power consumption that a device is capable of using under normal operating conditions. Input power, on the other hand, is the actual amount of power that a device is using at a given moment. The input power can be less than the rated power, as many devices, like my new dehumidifier, have power-saving features that allow them to use less energy when not in heavy use.
