Beats Studio Buds + | True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds - Ivory (Renewed)

My dog ate my Bose Quiet Comfort buds ($200) but I’d say I’m much happier with these! Noise cancellation is great, the pair and un-pair quickly (Bose sometimes wouldn’t disconnect and charge properly) and the bass is better in these also. The case is compact and they fit well in the ear. At this price point, I would buy these again and again, assuming they hold up for a reasonable amount of time. Definitely recommend and no issues I can tell from being reconditioned.

The Beats Studio Buds+ sound incredible for their size. Clear vocals, strong bass, and the noise cancellation works well in everyday settings. They’re comfortable to wear for long periods and the battery life is solid. Easy to pair with iPhone and Android. Great value for true wireless earbuds.

I have had two pairs of these and airpods/pros. I found these to be far better sound wise than apple airpods. The battery life is great, the noise cancellation is fantastic (used them as earplugs running a 90 lbs jackhammer on concrete without issue) but the transparency is meh. The earbuds are very comfortable to use for long periods, I've worn them for hours at a time and forgot I had them in.

Doing this in 2 parts, one for the product itself and one for the "Renewed" program. As far as the buds go, I love them. The ANC is very good and they sound great. Battery life is also a plus, and I really like the transparent design. The touch controls are easy to use once you remember what they all are. There are some controls for ANC right in iOS if you have an iphone, and they connected right away and automatically as they should. Doesn't seem like I am missing anything without the app. I'm only taking a star off because these should really have wireless charging for what they cost new. I guess this is in part so Apple can differentiate these from the AirPods but, come on. The case door is also a little bit flimsy feeling, and I'm sure if something breaks on the case it'll be that. Those are really my only complaints and they are negligible and I'd take a half star off if I could. Now, as far as Renewed products on Amazon go, I've purchased a few different things this way in the past and have been pretty satisfied. With these Beats earphones, not so much. These were "Excellent" condition, and the buds and case themselves are fine, but they came in a random cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap with the wrong charging cable (USB-A to USB-C). The cable works but it is not original or even the right kind (should be USB-C to USB-C). No original packaging to speak of, no paperwork, nothing. These things are not that big of a deal ultimately, and the packaging doesn't have to be original, but there were also no alternate ear tips. There are supposed to be 4 sizes to give you the best fit. The ones that came on the buds seem ok but I don't know if they were the best fitting ones or not. Other Renewed items I have bought came in the original packaging and had everything included, so this was kind of a bummer. I wish that the requirements for selling Renewed product were stricter. Amazon says "All Amazon Renewed purchases will come with accessories equivalent to those that shipped in the box when new. These items may not be original but will be compatible and fully functional. Amazon Renewed products will be packaged in either original packaging or in a new and clean cardboard box." That isn't what I received. It's not the end of the world, I have working Beats in the condition described, and there is no requirement for original packaging, but clearly the seller isn't following all the rules. It's not worth sending them back, and it is especially annoying that the brand new ones are currently on sale for just $20 more than what I paid for these Renewed ones.

Overall, the earbuds are good. But for me personally, not great. I had higher expectations for what I would receive based off of others reviews, but you get what you pay for when it comes to used items, and I took a gamble. There was some white noise in the ANC and in Transparency mode that definitely was not supposed to be present. There was echoing of my own voice that overpowered outside noises when in transparency mode. I think all the issues with these two modes was from the lack of sealant in the bud itself, that was not sealed properly during cleaning. It also was missing the mesh covers that go on the outside of the earbud to the rubber eartip. Personally the earbuds did hurt my ears after extended periods of use I did not receive any extra ear tips in other sides, I am on the smaller side for ears so it proved to be an issue. The box the Beats were shipped to me in was not the original box, it did not have the instructions or stickers most beats products would come with which isnt an issue for me as I have had their products before and know they are very easy to use and integrate well with apple since they got bought out by them. Overall, not bad buds if it is more “casual” usage. The earbuds came quickly, they sounded fine apart from the mode issues and missing seal, I do wish they fit better. I did notice a bit of grime located on the internal case that didn’t get cleaned fully, and you would need to unseal the lid and unplug some of the internal ribbons to clean it. They work amazing, I was a little worried because the box looked a little beat up but the beats themselves work fantastic and looked brand new! They came fast, fit nice, the sound quality is absolutely fantastic and they have great range! It also came with all the adjustment buds for different ear sizes.

Definitely a big down grade from Jabra earbuds. But a good quality for it's price and for it being (Renewed). I got it in an unopened package and it looked brand new. ANC works good on my android and sounds great when I connect it to discord on my MacBook, along with decent charging. It does have mono earbuds listening. Main Con for me is that there is no in ear sensor, so music/video will play even when putting earbuds back in case and as soon as you open the lid. But the connection is super quick and the earbuds are definitely secure in the case and while I'm at the gym.
