Works as advertised
A nice little lamp but at this brightness the batteries don’t last long so have spares at the ready. It’s a little smaller than I expected so potentially easy to misplace but has a very handy and effective clip for jacket or belt attachment.

prophetic review
The X30 is similar in size to my Olight baton 4. What is really good about the Alonefire is the cost: £13(after discount) which is approximately 5 times less than an Olight without the power bank. It almost makes it relatively pain free if you lose it compared to an Olight which is just as well as mine went missing after less than a month. Thankfully I have now found it as, oddly enough' it is the only light out of dozens I have tested that went up in brightness toward the 30 second measuring mark. Maybe I got a special one? On a rival site the lumen output is quoted as >350lm. On my own amateur light tester I got 355lm but to my naked eye it seems a lot more.Of course you get a lot more with the Olight but the X30 is really good value if you want a small bright but affordable, light weight torch to attach to a hat. There is a very good three star review on Amazon by M Shuster that mirrors my findings on this light. I heartily recommend looking at this review as it gives lots of detail. The only thing I would add to those comments is that by holding the button for a couple of seconds it will switch the light off so stopping the cycle to strobe etc. ( point 14d on the review). I rate it as a 4.5 star. It would be higher if Alonefire got to grip with the minor quality issues that their lights suffer from.Over all though this is a cracking good light for the price .

Inconsistent
The flashlight has a mind if it's own, obviously lose or dry connections not with the money. Returned for a full refund

He was impressed! He's rarely impressed.
Awesome little flashlight, especially for the price. Gave it as a stocking stuffer to my best friend's grumpy husband. He never likes anything. Wife had to take it away from him until she gave him her gift haha. Now I'm buying one because it actually is a very cool little flashlight.

Bright light!
Had to return the first , had a battery that wouldn’t charge, but the exchange process was first class fast and this is one awesome bright little light

Very bright
It's really bright for size. It's kinda on the smaller side. Very good build quality. No zoom function witch I love. Nice tight beam with spillage.

For the price it’s solid!
Charging port cover could be improved but for the price I’m not complaining. I plan to purchase a few more of these to drop in my go bags. They are small enough to pocket carry without bother and bright enough to be truly useful.

Stopped working within 1-2 weeks
Flashlight stopped working after 1-2 weeks. Will only work when plugged into USB charger, won't work off the internal battery at all anymore. I tried a different (verified working) battery and that doesn't work either.
