I have purchased many vinyl decals before. Typically they come on a release backing sheet with clear vinyl transfer tape on the front. You peel off the backing, apply the decal, then peel off the clear transfer tape. This decal came with masking tape instead of transfer tape.I bought a white vinyl decal at the same time as this black vinyl decal. (See each vinyl decal and it's respective packaging in my picture). As mentioned, this black decal came with masking tape over the decal instead of transfer tape. Because the decal was black and showed through a little, the masking tape did not make positioning the decal too difficult. However, the tackiness of masking tape is much greater than that of transfer tape, so peeling it away from the decal without it pulling the decal off my laptop surface was exceptionally tricky. Be forewarned that you will need to use extra care in applying this decal when removing the top tape.

So cheaply made. When taking off the clear covering it would not stop sticking to the decal and the decal ended up stretching out and ripping. I intended for the decal to go on my laptop :/

I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this, it was impossible to get off the paper. Ended up giving up since it refused to come off the backing and just returned it. I'll be going back to my normal site for ordering decals.
