Works great, very solid
So I already have a very similar safe that I keep all my personal documents in. So this safe was for my boyfriend. He really likes it so far. First he likes that he had the option to either type in the code or use a key to unlock it. Second, it's big enough to hold all his important stuff, but small enough that it fits on the bottom shelf of our wardrobe cabinet. It's very easy to use. The instructions to change the lock code were super easy to follow. The option to use a key is perfect because if the batteries die there has to be a way to get into it. The only thing my boyfriend doesn't like is the color. He says that it would be easier to hide if it was dark blue or black. But it works for what he needs it to work for. Very high quality!

Sturdy Home Safe
This home safe is nice and sturdy. It is packaged well and arrived with no visible damage. The seller provided a page of instructions which were helpful when the safe wouldn’t lock after internal batteries were installed. My husband is an electrical engineer and mechanic, so he reseated the battery box several times and the front external battery pack too. After several reseats, it finally worked. It appears as though there is a problem with the connection from the internal to external battery pack. Anyway, it works for now and we have the key as a backup. It’s nice they have thought of double redundant backups.

Seems sturdy, has backup ways to unlock if you loose power or forget password
Seems nice and sturdy. Having 3 ways to unlock the safe is nice as it get's it's power from a battery and if you forget to check it on a regular basis you could wind up locking yourself out of the safe without that backup key. At any rate seems like it will hold up well through years of use.

Poor instructions
I can program this safe, it took awhile to figure it out, but it will not lock for me. How does this lock?

Heavy
Big and heavy for sure, the keypad feels cheap but it works well. The setup is a little weird having the external box you have to connect to it to even use the key. I thought that was a little weird but I guess it makes it harder for someone to just pick the lock and get in without the code. Changing the code was easy and once inside there’s a decent amount of space. One thing I didn’t like is that it has holes pre drilled for mounting. I know that’s ideal if you mount it but it’s also kind of a big vulnerability if you expected to keep fire out.

Great safe just wish the instructions were better.
So after setting it up I really like it, it's a good size, good price, lots of options for opening it besides just the code, it also has keys and a digital lock although I haven't learned how to use that yet, the only thing I would say is the instructions could have been a little easier on programming because I think the instructions were kind of generic, that being said once I figured it out it wasn't that bad, pretty easy once you figure it out. Code and pistons seem to work really well.

Wow
So I am not sure what I was expecting but this safe is amazing! Way better than I would have imagined. It’s solid! Sturdy! Comes with clear instructions.2 sets of keys. It does need batteries if you want to use the keypad.

Solid little Safe, but the instructions are TERRIBLE - Be wary with no real fire rating
This Safe is very sturdy, but setting it up is a lesson in patience. The instructions are TERRIBLE, and it took a while to figure out how to install the batteries and prepare everything for the first use. I still don’t know if the little box with the attached wire does, as the instructions don’t explain it well. It was super confusing, and I’ve read many instructions in my lifetime.Let's talk about the Safe. It is incredibly sturdy and is rated fireproof. I can’t find any ratings on the Safe, so I’m unsure how fireproof the box is if there is a fire. Many competing Safe companies talk about fire ratings, how long their Safes protect your items, and under what conditions before things go awry. We have another lockbox guaranteed fireproof for an hour of high temperatures. For our important documents, that is good peace of mine. We use this safe for some valuables, but our best valuables are in a different safe with clearly defined fire ratings. This Safe is easy to open and close with the keys or the code (once you set it up). It does take batteries for the electronic locking mechanism, and the panel is on the inside closest to the hinges (Push up to get the cover off, if I remember correctly). Overall, it’s a solid Safe and will do well for most people. My main concern is exactly how fireproof the Safe is.Pros: Sturdy construction and easy to use once set-up is complete.Cons: Terrible, unclear instructions for set-up, and no real fire rating on the Safe. Is it really fireproof? You’ll have to take the manufacturer’s word for it, as the Safe has no fire ratings.
