No python? No problem!
This is a great piece of hardware. I also highly recommend getting Witmotion's TTL cable to go with this.Long story short, I tried using the MPU6050 through I2C with some high torque servos to make a dynamic balancing test rig. Rapid movement of the servos caused what I think is back EMF, which is what interfered with the I2C bus, and caused my entire experiment to freeze. After months of disappointment and a broken servo, I decided to give up using I2C and give this module a try.I noticed that Witmotion had sample codes that work with C++ but not for python. So the first thing I did was to write a python code which is now available on Github (I can not post the link directly here, but a simple search on Github can find it).So far, everything works fine. My servo balancing setup, which includes this module and a mini maestro servo controller, does not seem to be freezing anymore even after I violently shake it.

Could not make it work
The product points to some extensive documentation, but the described interface procedures don't work. It seems to have some Windows-specific custom, non-standard implementation that doesn't adhere to what is documented.

Excellent product, well documented good code samples

Great price, but no ROS2 support (and no Linux GUI)
You'll have to find a windows laptop to configure this IMU (no GUI for Ubuntu) and you'll have to rely on 3rd party ROS2 drivers.

Compass does not calibrate correctly - would not recommend
The compass does not calibrate and the sensor will point north whichever way is is pointed. We tried connecting it to a windows computer and android device. The app is unavailable in the android app store. Would not recommend purchasing this product.

No instructions
Came with no instructions. Link to "instructions" did not work. Returned because it could not be used.

Ver Frustrating
First, the 4pin connector would not stay in. Second, although it initially kind of worked, it became useless after a couple of recalibrations. I hope to return it.

Let's say expensive, poor documentation but good
I was expecting a little more about the documentation, if someone know to read Chinese it is fine, if not be prepared for research over and over.It woks fine, but I ended using another one like MPU6050 directly, instead to be guessing how to calibrate this device, the date frame format
