The Thompson Tee Men's Sweatproof Undershirt | Cotton Deep V Neck | Original Fit | with Sweat Pads

First saw this advertised on YouTube by Alpha M YouTube channel, which I went through a phase of watching and typically halfway through his video he'll start to shill some product for a company he has a deal with. Thompson Tee has been a long time sponsor of his. I've always been dubious about it as a result but definitely became more curious recently. I sweat. Badly. If you're interested in this product, presumably you do too. Anytime I go out, I get massive sweat patches through my clothing (multiple layers!) and no matter the weather because I sweat so much and it really bothers me! I'd love to pretend I cared little about what people though but there's just an impression given of people who are sweaty like that which I don't want to be associated with. I'd be conscious about my arm movements and just be less open with my body language as a result, as well as it also limiting the sort of clothes I'd be wearing. Tried EVERYTHING to reduce my sweating issue. All sorts of different deodorants, putting it on before bed, using talc. All ultimately ineffectual. So, thought I'd finally hop onto this. Was told to size down from my 'L' so went for an M. Deep V neck so it would remain hidden. £26? I was a bit conscious that this was way too expensive for what it is. I'm proud to say it was worth every penny. I was out last night with this underneath a shirt and a jumper combo and walked a fair distance all evening, was in some incredibly hot bars, and by the end of the night - zilch. Not a single bead of sweat was visible on this light grey jumper and on the shirt? Nothing. I was hella sweaty underneath, of course, but NO PATCHES WERE VISIBLE AT ALL. Simply put, the Thompson Tee works. And in my opinion, if you're bothered enough like me to want to remedy the issue, then the price is absolutely worth it. As others, I find Medium a comfortable size so size down from your regular and I also recommend the Deep V-Neck to keep it concealed. It's an absolutely great purchase and I will definitely be buying more in the near future. Any downsides at all? I've only worn it a few times so jury is out on whether it holds up but I see no reason why it won't if you wash it and dry it properly (air dry). Also, it is another layer so in certain hot environments you'll feel that impact but this is just the case with any under layer. Big thumbs up for the Thompson Tee. (Y)

Damn son I sweat alot, I was actually surprised that it stoped all sweat from getting through, even on a 8hour shift. I wish I brought a tighter fit as it is quite baggy

The shirts are just WAY too big! I had a look on the original website and, according to that, I am an XS (although in Europe I am generally an M). I ordered XS and...guess what? This shirt is larger than a comparable European size L shirt. What a shame!

If you struggle with excessive sweating in the armpit area, the Thompson Tee Men's Sweatproof Undershirt is a great solution. The sweat pads work perfectly, but be aware that the fit runs a bit small—I’d recommend sizing up. The material is good quality, and it’s well worth the price for the confidence it provides.

The fit is good and it does stop sweat coming through. The problem is, unlike my two other ones called SweatShield shirts (i think), the Thompson Tee starts to smell really badly after just a few hours of wearing even though I wash it after every wear. Some fabrics just seem to do that - and this is one of them. The other brand I mentioned don't and so will go with them in the future. This is coming from someone who doesn't even sweat that much compared to most people who might buy this kinda shirt.

Working all day at the UK’s best theme park in the sunshine in a humid 25c. and this undershirt performed brilliantly. Not a trace of an underarm sweat patch. Absolutely blown away and so much added confidence when in close proximity to our guests.

Find this top really good. Was expecting it to be a little bigger as I purchased as women and I know mens size are usually a little more generous but not this time. It does fit, I just expected it to be a bit baggier. The armpits have substanial padding which was like heaven on earth to me. It's a good looking top, I'm happy with the quality of it+ hopefully it will do the job sweat wise.

Ein gutes T-Shirt wenn man viel Schwitzt. Das T-Shirt hat große Schweisspolster wodurch sie auch bei starkem Schwitzen über Stunden trocken halten. Ich habe sie nun schon seid einigen Wochen und trage täglich eins. Auch nach mehreren Waschgängen und mehrmaligem tragen sind sie absolut zufriedenstellend. Die Polster unter den Armen sind größer und etwas dicker als bei den meisten anderen Anbietern was manche Leute stören könnte. Für mich ist es jedoch absolut perfekt und nach 1-2 x tragen hatte ich mich dran gewöhnt und merke es garnicht mehr. Vor dem ersten Wasschen sollte man ejdoch im Inetrnet mal suchen wie man solche Shirts richtig wäscht da man die Polster durch falsche Waschmittel, Temperaturen oder falsches Aufhängen auch beschädigen kann. Ich habe mit folgendem Vorgang sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht und habe bei 10 T-Shirts nach je ca 10 Waschgängen noch kein einziges defektes. 1. T-Shirt auf 30/40 Grad Waschen (Ohne Weichspüler und kein Vollwaschmittel oder andere Agressivere Zusätze) 2. T-Shirt auf eine Trockenleine hängen, dabei aber schauen das der Achselbereich(Polser) nicht zerknittert sind oder geknickt (Achselbereich sauber ausstülpen, glatt streichen und hängen lassen) Das macht 5 Sekunden mehr Arbeit aber dafür halten sie lange.

Sizes are on the big size. If you're a medium get the small. If you have a sun burn the fabric will scratch and hurt. (I had to wear a different tshirt on those days). However it does what it says it does. I had no stains seem through to my dress shirts and I use charcoal deodorant. My dry cleaners said it's worse than gas to get out so this tshirt saved me lots of $$
