My cat absolutely loves it. It definitely slows down his eating. It works well with wet or dry food. It's very easy to add food to, but a small spatula for wet food can be useful. It's just the perfect size for my one cat and is worth the price. The only problem I have is that the slip resistance is good, but if you have a more persistent cat like I do, it can be moved quite easily.

While intended for cats, I use this to feed one of my dachshunds. It fits up to a half of a cup of dry small bite kibble and REALLY slows them down. It stays put when you set it down with a really nice rubber rim. While I use it for my dogs, this is definitely whisker-friendly for cats because the wells are pretty shallow. I actually need to order a new one, but that's because I gave mine to a friend who was struggling with his cat eating too quickly. He said it works great for her, too! It is a little bit challenging to clean if you clean by hand due to the number of pockets, but it's a fair trade off for the other benefits.

Impressed with the effectiveness of this slow feeder! If you have a chunky old man of a cat that likes to devour food in 3 seconds flat, then this is the feeder for you! It has helped slow his eating where he isn’t gorging like he will never see food again and then spitting up whole pieces a few minutes later. The depth is just enough for one piece of food, and about 2-3 pieces per little hexagon if you’re feeding a smaller pebble. Your pet will actually have to work for their food and spin the feeder to get to the pebbles. The only downside of this design is how long it takes to actually put food in it without making a mess yourself, which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars. It’s good quality soft plastic material that is really durable and extremely easy to take apart and clean or pop in the dishwasher.

My cat is part Bengal & can't sit still for more than 5 seconds. This little booger can get himself into sooo much trouble. He's such an active breed of cat that he sometimes has problems with boredom, which has led to stress and serious health issues. My vet recommended purchasing food puzzles to give him an activity to focus on & provide enrichment. I have about 6 different types of feeder puzzles so far. I saw one like this in Kohl's for $20+ and decided to look for it here instead. This sometimes goes on sale for $9.58, so last time it did, I ordered it. It's much smaller than it looks, about the size of a salad plate. It's made of a very hard, durable material & it can be disassembled to wash and dry. It spins easily and takes about 2 minutes at most to load it with treats or kibble. It's perfect for my cat. It challenges him more than some of his other puzzles & he really has to work to move & open the levels. I fill it up with part of his daily dry food and it keeps him busy for quite awhile. He's a smart one, so this puzzle will be put into rotation with the others so it's never the same one constantly. He likes this one alot because he sits and chirps at me while I fill it. I can't recommend this item enough. My cat's well-being, happiness & health have greatly improved with the addition of these types of puzzles and feeders into his daily routine. If you have a cat that eats a little too fast, this is also a great way to get them to slow down.

This slow feeder works wonderfully! My cat would always eat too fast so we would have to stick to giving her a little at a time to slow her down so she wouldn’t get sick. This slows her down exponentially, completely eliminating her stomach problems! What normally took her 3 minutes to scarf down now takes the same time if not longer than the other cats in my house who eat slowly. It does say it’s a 1/2 cup capacity, but I only feed her 1/4 cup for her size and it’s pretty full though I use bigger kibble bits. So do with that as you will. The bowl works wonderfully for its slip resistance and the color is one of my favorites. It does take a little bit of shaking to get the kibble evenly distributed, but after a couple of times of doing it, it’s super easy to use. Definitely worth every penny.

I was looking for small dishes for a small dog(Chinese crested hairless, 8-10 lb max) but the bowl does not hold enough for a dog even as a slow feeder bowl.

Very nice quality, unfortunately, my kitty doesn't seem to completely understand how to do it. Super easy to clean as well. It is a bit small, but it's definitely enough, at least for now. Another maybe issue is that it slides easily on flat, smooth floors when you push it, and it's a little hard to turn.

One of my cats eats too fast for her own good. This bowl has slowed her down and the amount of times I’m cleaning up cat puke has gone down to zero since we started using these bowls! The first day I did notice hesitation and both my cats avoided eating from it. However, by day two, they had already figured out how to eat from them. The material is durable and I can tell they will last a while. I only feed them dry food in these bowls.

This is a great treat/food dispenser that my cats love. It's fun to watch them figure out where the food is and how to score! Solid bit of kit for cats and their hoomuns😻

Our cat is food obsessed. This dish really slows him down. Now after a few days of using it, he will actually leave his dish with food left in it and go back later on to finish it. That's a big win for us. We only feed him kibble, not sure how it would work with wet food.. likely a nightmare to wash given all the honeycomb pockets.

Gutes, stabiles Material. Sehr leicht zum Reinigen auseinanderzunehmen. Alle drei Etagen sind regelmäßig leer geputzt. Feuchtfutter würde ich da nicht hinein geben. In die ganz schmalen Teilabschnitte stecke ich besonders beliebte Leckerchen und auch die werden immer vollständig herausgepuzzelt. Das Gestell wird von den allermeisten Katzen (Tierschutz) sehr gut angenommen. Ich werde noch ein paar nachbestellen, da sie nicht so viel Platz wegnehmen, wie die großen Fummelbretter eines namhaften Herstellers.

this was a game changer for our older cat who threw up almost every day-he has not since we introduced this dish, slows him down and no incidents since we switched over- highly recommend this dish

Die Kleinen sind beschäftigt und haben ihren Spaß. Da meine Katzen klein sind, ist die geringe Größe auch kein Problem. Material ist auch hochwertig, stabil und auch für die Menschen ansprechend gestaltet. Ich bin ein Fan der Marke geworden.
