Gold Toe Men's Cotton Over-the-Calf Athletic Socks (3-Pack)

I am 6'2" and this socks fits me perfectly reaching right upto the knees. Perfect size. It's very light material making it absolutely comfortable even when it covers your entire calf. The soft material of the socks add to the comfort. Highly recommended for those who are looking for OTC socks

Gold Toe has always been a good brand. I have purchased at least 5 packages of these socks for family members. They fit well without binding, they wash well, they are comfortable. They are long and come close to the bend of the back of the knee. This is a brand that I will purchase again.

So far, so good. But I've only had them a week. I bought them because other socks would not stay up when I wore rubber boots. The lining in the boots causes my other socks to "walk down" at the heel. But these stayed up. They go well over the calf - to about half way over my knee cap, and I am 6'1". The socks are not especially soft, but that's ok for me since they are work socks. They give adequate padding without too much bulk. All in all I'm happy with them at this point. UPDATE: It is now January 2017 and the socks are just like new. I have hand washed in cold water, and air dried them all these months. No stretching or shrinkage has occurred. They still hold tight and don't fall down during wear. I purchased more so I can wear a fresh pair every day and not have to wash them so often. Great socks that I recommend highly. UPDATE: One year later, January 2018. All the original socks developed holes about an inch beyond the heels under the foot. My wife darned them, and then darned them, again. Now, she is sewing patches on them. The patched socks are still comfortable to wear. I am amazed at how thick and luxurious these socks are, except for this one spot. The elastic is still strong, also. The only reason I am keeping the holey socks is because that is the only part not good and can be patched. I just ordered some more and will wear them along with the patched socks. Wish I could find these same socks that would do a better job of holding up to wear.

These are form fitting compression socks! If you have your toenails surgically remove they might be okay. I have to pull really hard to get them on, and they will snag on anything. I am old, and just getting these things on with one hand is an exhausting chore. Actually, pretty good quality; just overkill in elasticity. I have to stretch the socks over something before even trying to put them on. Strong young guys looking for something really tight may love these cutting blood circulation off. Editing in. I changed my rating. After washing and wearing few times, I like these socks. Lot better sock than those spandex Cowboy Wranglers.
