wouldn’t count on it as a cognitive game-changer.
Bulletproof High Achiever Coffee (with Lion’s Mane) I genuinely like the flavor of this coffee. It’s a smooth, medium-dark roast that tastes like real coffee, not a gimmicky “functional” blend. No mushroom taste, no weird after-notes—just solid, enjoyable coffee that I’m happy to drink black or with a splash of cream. That said, I don’t really feel any noticeable “mushroom benefits.” While the Lion’s Mane inclusion sounds great on paper, I personally didn’t experience a clear boost in focus, mental clarity, or cognition beyond what I’d expect from regular caffeine. If there are benefits, they’re subtle enough that I don’t consciously notice them. Pros: • Great coffee flavor • No mushroom taste at all • Easy daily drinker • Feels like quality coffee first, functional second Cons: • Lion’s Mane effects feel minimal or unnoticeable (for me) • Benefits may be too subtle if you’re expecting a clear cognitive lift Bottom line: If you want a good-tasting coffee with a “clean ingredient” story, this is a solid choice. If you’re buying it primarily for noticeable mushroom or nootropic benefits, you may come away underwhelmed. I’ll keep drinking it for the taste—but I wouldn’t count on it as a cognitive game-changer.

Good flavor and high energy
Loved this coffee! Made it in my cold brew jar and it was perfect. Very good flavor, not bitter, paired well with my Kit Kat flavored creamer. The coarse grind is perfect to get a strong cold brew, and I definitely felt a nice boost, but not sure if it was simply higher caffeine or if the mushrooms had anything to do with it. I can't afford to purchase this all of the time, but I was able to make 2 weeks worth of cold brew with one bag, so it is a good value. (I drink one glass of cold brew a day, normally, and one 1/2 gallon jar lasts a week)

Great Coffee!
I love this coffee. It's not bitter and I combine it with coconut milk and the hazelnut creamer. It makes me tummy happy all morning! And, I just love the healthy lift! I also use it with a coffee press and it just makes the best coffee.

As If You're Drinking Coffee from a Diner but... More Premium, But Still Diner-Like
Through my fancy but not ridiculous drip coffee maker using just three scoops (using the scoop that came with my coffee maker) and brewing 10 cups, I got a very dark, flavor-intense coffee firmly in the department of "burnt roast tasting". It has (for me anyway) adjacency to Starbucks Pike Roast, but with a layer of a kind of powder-like taste that may be coming from the supplements in this coffee. My dad had a cup as well and said, "This tastes like a high end diner coffee," and I couldn't have agreed more. You go to a diner, you have coffee that's probably Maxwell House or Foldgers and it's still somehow amazing coffee. This is like... that sort of vibe but... like the beans they save for when Jennifer Lopez walks in and you don't want to risk her commenting on you having bad coffee... ya know? Yeah... I think you get it. It's good but not great; but in the right setting... it's great. Would I buy it again... probably not, though. I prefer a different flavor profile.
