Great unit with locking drawers it looks great in the bedroom and well worth the money

I was nervous about buying these as previous reviews spoke of ill-fitting handles, flimsy packaging and worse of all, damaged goods. I think the sellers must have listened as my Hippo draws arrived very securely packaged and in perfect condition. They are very sturdy and well made and the handles and castors went on easy enough and fit well. I bought them for my son whose bedroom doubles as an office/games room. They blend in well with his other new oak bedroom furniture and nestle snugly under his oversized desk, maximising the space so what he has lost in leg room, he has gained in storage. Two keys means that he can keep his private things private and has a spare, should he lose his housekeys (bound to happen one day). Recommended. Buy with renewed confidence.

Very suitable for purpose and aesthetically very nice. A tad expensive in my opinion, but acceptable. Adequate room for suspended files and good drawer space, which opens and closes very freely. Good delivery, well packaged and complete. I have a hard wooden floor so cut and stuck a piece of 15mm foam insulation around the 'foot' in case continual use caused a mark. Not sure if 'foot' necessary, but used anyway. All in all I fully recommend and am 100% happy with the product, the only reservation is to reiterate my opinion of a tad on the expensive side.

This is a substantial piece of office furniture, well constructed. I was delighted to find that it was delivered fully assembled and packaged in two boxes.

Ordered the black unit and delivered very quickly and very well packed so no issues with dents or scratches. Came all ready assembled and such a simple thing, but the trays inside the unit were all secured using masking tape and NOT that horrible tape that leaves marks and takes hours to remove. Excellent if you want a small 3 draw cabinet, which I did. Well made, super simple to put wheels and handles on.

I was wary of ordering this with a significant number or people reporting delivery issues / damaged items, but for £119 on Prime I took a chance. The driver just dumped it on my doorstep & didn't even ring the doorbell !!! Thankfully it wasn't actually raining at that point. The unit itself was well packed, multiple layers of cardboard, plastic strapping plus foam corner protectors & despite a few minor scars on the outer packaging, it was undamaged. Assembly was simple enough (fit the castors & drawer handles), but the castor studs were too long for the holes. This is either a manufacturing defect or a design flaw. 15mm long studs in 13.5mm deep holes means they would burst through in the bottom panel when tightened, making an ugly mess (as another reviewer has experienced). I had suitable washers on hand to spread the load & space the castor studs to avoid them bottoming out ion the holes, so watch for this when tightening the castors. Mine was not supplied, or fitted with an anti tip device of any kind. Other than that the parts were neatly assembled & undamaged. If you can get a deal on this it's decent value.

Le dispositif anti basculement est inexistant, un éclat est présent dans le placage de la tablette supérieure alors qu'annoncé comme du bois massif ce que je n'ai jamais cru d'ailleurs, je ne suis même pas sur que le placage est du vrai bois. Malgré ces manquements j'ai gardé le caisson car trop compliqué et risqué de vouloir en obtenir un autre ! Le caisson remplit son rôle sous mon bureau en noyer aussi donc l'éclat n'est pas visible et le caisson est beau, les tiroirs fonctionnent bien.

ce caisson est arrivé monté MAIS très abîmé : le coin superieur droit et surtout un gros morceau cassé dans le 1 er tiroir

Le prix n’est pas justifié. Le meuble est d’une qualité quelconque. Le seul point positif est que le meuble est livré monté.
