Excellent little runner
This is an excellent Mini PC, I bought it wanting to play old games (~2015 and under) and it works flawlessly for them. It’s quiet, small and cheap for what it is. It also comes with a vesa mount in case you want to keep it hidden, I’ve not used it but it seems useful. I’ve only installed a few games on it so far but here are my results (1080p, it doesn’t handle 4k well): Red alert 3: flawless at ultra Bioshock infinite: good at high but dropped a few settings down to normal for 60fps Fable the lost chapters: perfect, would even have it on 4k but the elements don’t scale, game issue not pc. Cyberpunk: would actually run and got 20fps on default settings which while not playable is impressive for a £200 that fits in your hand.

Excellent mini PC with no useless bloatware and useless Antivirus added
A breeze to setup and had MSOffice 2021 pro installed without a problem for £18 (CJS-CD keys) - so impressed. To avoid having to setup a MS account for MSOffice just load the ISO from a suitable website, run SW install & apply the key when opening Word say. PC is very discreet, with plenty of ports. Very quiet (my Lenovo laptop with same config is maybe noisier so run that in quiet mode), and ran cool all the time. £240 is great value for a decent processor, 16G RAM & 500Gb SSD

Solid choice
The Beelink SER5 has been a great purchase and I am really satisfied with the overall package. It was easy to set up and connect with my wifi. The spec is pretty decent and everything I have ran on it so far has performed well. Plenty storage for what I require and overall the spec has been as described and previously reviewed. It is a little more than I wanted to spend , hence the 4* but I was advised by a friend who knows about these things that the better spec than some of the lower from the same brand would be better. So far I haven't been disappointed and would recommend to others as a solid choice.

Great bit of kit
I’d been watching the mini pc market for quite a while, in particular Beelink models as a friend had impressed me with one he’d bought. I’m a fan of AMD processors and the combination with Radeon graphics so when this particular model popped up in the Amazon Spring Sale I felt that I had bagged a bargain, especially as my 10 year old desktop had recently died. This model is packed with top spec components and proved very straightforward and quick to set up, it’s so small that it fixes onto the back of a monitor using the VESA plate provided. On starting up the first thing you notice is how quiet it is and how quick startup is, with Windows 11 proving easy to navigate. I’m not into gaming so can’t comment on performance in that direction but from browsing, photo editing, graphic applications and general computing it’s brilliant, and at the price it represents great value for money.

Small but capable
This mini computer is very capable in spite of the small size. It does not get hot and it does not make any noise. This is just what I needed.

Tiny but powerful mini-PC
Item: Beelink SER5 PRO MINI PC, AMD Ryzen 7 5850U, 16GB RAM 500GB NVMe SSD This is a really quite small but powerful PC. This was bought as a replacement/upgrade for an aging laptop which hadn't moved from a desk location for years. It arrived quickly, with a Windows 11 Pro install, which I immediately replaced with a fresh install using an ISO downloaded directly from Microsoft - this ensures that there is no manufacturer added software in place, although to be fair, I didn't notice any from Beelink before wiping. While the unit then booted correctly, it was necessary to install specific drivers from the Beelink website to get the best performance from various components - this is typical for integrated devices as used in laptops and mini PCs, so was pretty easy. Once that was done, the device worked perfectly. It's mostly used for web browsing, Minecraft, and Roblox, all of which it handles easily. It is pretty quiet in operation, and appears to be remaining cool to the touch as well. It's also handling abuse by small children without any issues - keyboard, mouse, and monitor are all connected via a USB3 mini dock, so they only need to press the power button to get to the system.

PC is a nice unit but ultimately proved unreliable.
Have been using the Beelink GTR6 6900HX 8K 32G Mini PC for around six months now as a main desktop PC with three HP 27q monitors, all running 2560 x 1140. The PC is used for CAD and 3D rendering, Graphics work and General office activities. It has proved absolutely 100% reliable, never turned off - rebooted only for Win11 updates. It is fast, quiet and can definitely recommend it. Worth upgrading the SSD to the max of 2TB. Update Nov 2023. Well, all is not well.. Pc has been really reliable and been on continuous for 9 months. Had a slight desk move and then the pc just crashes after being on for a variable period, typically up to five mins. Had a good check inside and no dust, fans turning and heatsink clean. Feel this is a thermal issue but other than stripping down completely, cannot pin issue. Maybe gap pad dried out ? Maybe just decided to be a thorn and designated for the bin. Will certainly put on bench and have a look in more detail but do not expect this issue to have jumped out in such a short time frame. Disappointed and have no confidence in the PC anymore. Update Nov 2023. Expensive Door Stop! Having delved further, checking the thermals, memory, SSD etc. No change. So got thinking that this could possibly be a legacy BIOS issue from when it was updated to (EC_GTR6_V6_4_0_0_11).. Only changes was to enable powerup from PSU connection. However, restored back to factory settings and still crashes. Now lost total trust and have written this PC off.

When first booted everything worked fine. After a short period of time all internet connections fail to connect to the internet. This includes WiFi and Ethernet. My laptop connects just fine via both. Used the same cable on both devices and the SER 5 failed but the laptop connected fine. The SER could connect to network devices but not the internet. Rebooted the modem and it worked for about 5 minutes than lost internet connection. Will send it back and try a different company Update: I did a complete reset of windows. The ethernet connection would not connect to the internet, even though windows troubleshooter said it was connected. After about 10-15 minutes it established a connection, but would drop it when I tried to do anything. I let it sit for awhile and came back about an hour later and had a stable connection. The next morning it was still connected. I rebooted and again no connection for 10-15 minutes. I checked to see if it was a connection problem. I have another computer connected to the same switch so I swapped Ethernet cables and had the same issue. So it is not my cable, switch or modem. Amazon is replacing the device. I really like it when everything is working. The size and capabilities are great for the price. It may just be this one unit or it could be a design problem with this version of the Beelink SER 5. Will have to wait and see. Customer support was good via email. They sent new drivers and gave me some things to try to see if it fixed the problem. If the new box works than I would give this 5 stars. 11/27/23 Got the replacement. Works great. The issue appears to be with CenturyLink Fiber modem. I had to disable a feature they use for VPN or something like that. Once done works great. Highly recommend

Muchas gracias!

First Impressions - The PC performs very well. Setup was very easy (Win 11 rating pending) and functions as expected. Noise was a thing in the reviews, but I found it to be very quite. Possibly might be an issue if you're looking to do some system intensive functions. Very small footprint. I don't think I'll attempt to upgrade RAM/HDD since its fast enough with how it comes from the manufacturer.
