This makeup was perfect! I wore it for 10+ hours for Halloween at work and it painted on perfectly. My only recommendation is to use a makeup primer beforehand and apply the makeup with a wet sponge. You can layer on the color and it covers REALLY well! Look how good it looks in the photo!

This stuff works AMAZING! I needed it to be Gamora as part of our Ragnar relay trail running team Ragnardians of the Galaxy. I wanted to be able to run the whole 48 hours in full costume so I needed something easy to apply that STAYS ON and still looks good after many hours, that is also breathable enough to not make my face crusty 😂 this little compact was beyond perfect!!!! I applied it with a magic eraser (which is all I had, would use a beauty blender sponge next time) and a little water. Obviously I wasn’t going for a professional look and only took 15 minutes to get ready, but I am sure if you were more careful with applying it you’d get professional looking results. It went on smoothly, it’s easy to blend and you can layer multiple times to get the coverage you want. It held up over 48 hours as I ran 16 miles, got rained on, slept in a sleeping bag, and sweated a LOT. Once it dried, it didn’t rub off on my clothes or random things I touched. I put it on my entire face, neck, upper body, belly, arms, and lower legs, and did a few touch ups throughout the weekend, and the compact is still full so I know I could be Gamora many more times before this runs out lol. The cleanup was simple, just soap and water and I got everything back off in one shower. I highly recommend this brand to anyone who needs long-lasting, comfortable body paint at a good price. I should add that I hardly EVER bother to leave a review on Amazon, so the fact that I’m leaving this hopefully shows you how impressed I am!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I have fair sensitive skin that, due to my age (almost 47) tends to be very dry. However, on the days when I'm not at work, I much prefer powdered foundation because it seems to let my skin breathe and seems less "made-up" looking. I have tried all of the best-selling mineral powder foundations on the market, from the lowest to highest price point, I've even made my own using organic product kits I found online. Out of all of the powder foundations I've tried, this one is my absolute favorite. You can choose how much coverage you want. I realize this is marketed as stage makeup. However, it's also suitable for everyday wear. So long as you don't apply too much. It covers my flaws and blurs my lines, and even works as a concealer. Also, you get about 4 to 6 times as much product as you normally would in other pans. I normally have to go with two foundations to get a good color match for me. A fair foundation, blended with a neutral shade number two. But this foundation matches my skin perfectly. I wear it all day long. It lasts very well and causes zero irritation. I've gotten compliments on how young and healthy my skin looks while wearing it. The only reason I don't wear it to work is that I work in the operating room and wear a mask constantly, and this powder foundation would not stand up to frequently putting my mask on and off. I apply this over a simple primer, currently I'm using the one from Elizabeth Mott. Then, I top that application with a dusting of another mineral product which is no longer in production called Radiance. I could not ask for a better result. I'm going to go ahead and buy up a few of these just in case too many people read this review and then they sell out. I seem to have an unusual coloring to my skin so companies often discontinue the shade that is my favorite. I will definitely be trying other products from this company based on the superior results I've gotten with this one. For anyone interested, in the attached photos, I'm wearing a Max Factor eye palette in pink and plum shades as well as Max Factor blush.

So I purchased this face paint to use in conjunction with the Ochre Yellow Snazaroo face paint (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q944PC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00), for a cosplay. My character was Flame Princess from Adventure Time, so I was looking for an orangey-yellow color mix. Well, this paint ended up being highly pigmented and basically overshadowing the Snazaroo. The two didn’t seem to mix well, coming out more of a pink shade than the rich yellow orange I was hoping for. So instead of mixing, I ended up just layering this face paint over it once it had dried. I did roughly around two coats, and used hairspray to finish it all off. The color was great to work with, either wet/damp or dry. I preferred the dryer method, since the color appeared richer and more orange. But the perfect way to describe this orange color is that it ends up being cheeto orange, I kid you not. The images I attached show a very good representation of the color. Yes, I look like a complete dork, but I’m attaching them here so everyone can get a better idea of what the colors look like initially and several hours after wear in Georgia humidity. The first image on the left is right after we applied the makeup, and it was taken without a flash. The color is very vibrant and rich. This is more of an accurate depiction of how the color looks in person. The image on the right was taken several hours later, with a flash. It’s not the most flattering image due to the color being washed out, but you can see where some of the face paint has started to wear off: around the cheeks, where my convention badge rubbed against my skin, and where the dress rubbed against my skin. What you don’t see in the pictures is that it was also rubbing away from the inner crook of my elbows. Other than that, it stayed on very well, including on my hands. I would recommend soft lighting be used, or camera pictures without the flash when taking pictures of this color. I did a lot of research looking for a good face paint, and this brand was touted over and over for being one of the best brands in humidity and heat. Since it was the first kind I’ve ever used, I can only say that it held up surprisingly well in the Georgia climate for a first time user. I was keeping my fireballs stored in my.. ahem… chest, and out of my hands, so it started sweating and streaking, but generally speaking, it stayed put very well where there wasn’t a lot of sweat. I did re-apply it to the inside my elbows once throughout the night, so touchups are probably recommended for areas like that, but otherwise, this is a great product. Even when I washed it off in the shower, it clung to my ears, face, and beneath my arms. It took three showers to remove the residue completely, and that was with intensive scrubbing done each time. I will also say that I had some sensitive dry patches after the makeup was removed, around my eyes and on my face. I didn’t any type of warning about it, but in the future I will be very careful when applying it on my face. PROS: -Super vibrant color. -Stayed on very well, with only minimal touchups required on the chest and elbow bend. -Can be applied either wet/damp or dry. -Did very well in the Georgia heat/humidity. -Very blendable. Make sure it dries fully before touching things, because it will come off when you touch people or the wall/door knobs. -A little goes a long way—truly! I did my entire back, neck, chest, and arms, and there’s not even a dent in the makeup. -I like that the lid spins off/on, instead of simply covering the face paint. That means you don’t have to worry about it popping open in your bag, or drying as easily due to its minimal air exposure. CONS: -Didn’t mix very well with the Snazaroo Ochre Yellow I tried to mix it with. Combined, they became more of a pink color than anything. -I didn’t see any warnings about facial sensitivity, but there were several spots on my face that dried up. It went away after some moisturizer was used for two days, but I’d definitely recommend trying a spot on your face before applying it there. (I spot checked on my arm with no ill effects.) -I was looking for a lighter orange, and it turned out a bit darker on my skin than I was hoping for. (Think closer to cheeto orange)

I love that this can be used as a powder or a wet paint by just adding water. Very pigmented. Was able to layer to get a darker color. Didn’t transfer much. Will be trying this out again in different colors.

I like the quality and it applies really well. On me the shade turned out more pinkish than true red, but it still works nicely.

Powder is easy to put on! Easy to wash off. It’s easy to layer for deeper color. Just need a makeup brush and you’ll be good to go! It didn’t crease or clump up at all. It’s smooth and lightweight also. Didn’t feel heavy at all.
