Better than standard plumbers solder - thicker. For frig compressor copper tubes. Brazing
Plumbers solder requires tighter fits and melts and runs thinner, cannot be built up over a gap or space. This can be formed and shaped to fill in a gap. Such silver solder does not require flux between copper to copper brazing, nor copper to silver. I think it can be used to join ferrous to non-ferrous as well with flux. More than enough for a small project without purchasing a huge quantity. The rods are more like wire so they are smaller than expected, but they worked just fine. I used a MAPP gas torch tip (with air inlet holes at the base) with MAPP gas in the yellow can similar to below although I think a basic plumbers torch for the blue propane fuel would work as well. Torch tips that have an air inlet hole that allows air to mix in with the gas burn a little hotter. Check the temp range of the torch tip. The brazing rods require heat range from about 1,200 to 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit. Good build-up ability. Good working temperature. Good adhesion. This would work well for art sculpture projects for assembling various metal types without a welder too. https://www.amazon.com/Intensity-Trigger-Portable-Welding-Stripping/dp/B08LS83W94/ref=sr_1_25?crid=3OBKMXJ9UQCBP&keywords=plumber%2Bsoldering%2Btorch%2Bkit&qid=1704828841&sprefix=plumber%2Btorch%2Caps%2C188&sr=8-25&th=1

Worked nicely
As a few have already mentioned, these are thin. They are not the wide strips that are usually used in commercial refrigeration. However they do flow nicely and seal up the joints well. One package was more than enough to flow 6 joints on a commercial refrigeration unit.

Small
They worked ok but they are of a much much smaller diameter than I would have hoped.

Great rod great price
I was in a bind and tried this rod and was pleasantly surprised that it worked better than stuff I'd been using for years. Now it's all I'll buy for doing the saw mufflers

Small quantity
Product is what it claims. But be aware sticks are small and about 30% shorter than industry standard. So this is not a negative review but more about understanding to the buyer what you will be receiving.
