Converting flat bar to drop bar is way too complicated for me also not making financial sense. This product helps a bit without major change. Have been using for a while, everything is good. No regret of the purchase at all.

I fitted these inner bands to an SQ lab flat handle bar to give me some alternative hand positions for a bike packing trip (I have surgical scars and plates in one write that can get stiff and painful on long rides). I practically lived on these little horns riding everything on and off road either on a level or going uphill as I crossed Switzerland this month. They weigh practically nothing. They’re easy to install. Didn’t budge in use. They’re very ergonomic and comfortable. They’re discreet and unobtrusive (compared to traditional bar ends). They helped me crank on pedals during very steep hill climbs more easily, and still gave excellent reach and control of brakes on fast road cruising situations. Only on propper off-road descents, would I return to a ‘normal’ flat bar grip. Cannot recommend highly enough, and think they are extremely good value.

Bought for flat bar hardtail. Wrist and hand position for more natural whilst using these although only used on smart trainer so far as recovering from bike accident. They replace the lock rings on my ergon grips although dont quite fit flush with the grips maybe 1.5mm gap but still lock tightly. For best comfort prob need to use gloves. Easy access to brakes whilst hands on these which is great and no risk to catching on anything compared to outer bar ends. Still fine tuning angle but glad i bought them.

Lightweight, great quality and good value. Comfortable and looks great on my XC hardtail.

Excellent product wish I'd have bought them years ago.
