Hard Gel, Builder and Strengthener for Hard, Strong Nails, Extensions And Growth, Clear, 10 ml (Requires Curing Under LED Or UV Lamp)

I use the hard gel in ‘clear pink’ and it really helps strengthen my nails and my manicure lasts way longer than when I don’t use it. It’s a similar thickness to a top coat so I cure it for longer than the coats of colour I use on top. It gives good coverage but isn’t very pigmented so I personally wouldn't use it on its own. I have used Bluesky products for years, they’re great quality, last a good amount of time (1-2 weeks) without peeling or fading and they’re easy to apply. I only ever do a French manicure and for this I use a base coat, cure for 30 seconds; hard gel, 60 seconds; 2-3 coats of pink (colour: all about me) 30 seconds each; 2 coats of white for the tip (diamond white “best coverage”) and Bluesky no wipe top coat, cure for 3 minutes. For reference I use the Sadodo nail lamp, 280W

I purchased the Bluesky Hard Gel to strengthen my nails and attempt some extensions. The gel applies smoothly and cures well under my LED lamp. It provides a solid base, and I've noticed my nails feel stronger since using it. However, I did encounter some challenges. The gel has a tendency to be a bit sticky, which made application slightly difficult. Additionally, I found that it remained tacky even after curing, requiring a wipe-off with alcohol to achieve a smooth finish. While it works well for strengthening, I would recommend practicing the application technique to avoid any issues. Overall, it's a decent product for those looking to enhance nail strength at home.

I was getting my nails done professionally. But after being being ripped off, I decided to go back to doing them myself. Two and a half months later, and they're stronger than ever!! I couldn't get a set to last longer than a week before I started using this. Two weeks later, and still going strong. Easy to file off. Will definitely be my go to brand from now on.

Used over base coat, heated for 2 mins with an led lamp but top layer was still soft and marked easily upon touching! Gave it another 30 secs then carried on with nail colours x 2 coats then a top coat and my nails did feel stronger than usual after finishing and my nails haven't chipped at all. Used to attach 2 nail gems and they stuck well after 1 min under lamp and are still attached after 4 days. I use my nails a lot as I'm a picker and have a manual job and never wear gloves for cleaning but they're perfect, yet usually chip easily next day if I do them at home with my vishine kit, so I know the hard gel makes a difference, but so does good preparation and this time was after a salon visit after i copied their prep. Would possibly try a well known brand next time though like Mylee but much cheaper than a salon visit. Edit: used on own with top coat and started lifting next day so I don't think this builder is very good!

I’m giving this 5 stars, even though it is not a hard gel. (Hard gels are file off). This gel is soak off. And it soaks off in approx 8-10 mins!! I apply it immediately after the gel colour, and before the top coat. It offers a layer support and protects the colour the if top coat wears off. It’s easy to work with & I’d say it’s slightly thicker than a top coat. Great value for money. I continually repurchase.
