Quake Secure Museum Quality Adhesive, Putty

This stuff is the bees knees, especially if you have crockery and a cat. Word to the wise: when making your little balls of Quake Secure and sticking them under your valuables, do it when the cat ain't around ... otherwise, he/she will be overcome with curiosity and will bust your crocks anyway. The trick is to put it all back where it was (exactly) and DO NOT ATTRACT ATTENTION! Can't say how well this goop works in an earthquake, but so far it's pretty good against felines. Should be good for kids, too. We're going to try under some new table lamps, and we are hoping for good luck there as well.

I have small breakables that I sometimes put into bookcases. We have to really slam some of the doors in our house and these things would fall out and break sometimes. I highly recommend this. It also offers a degree of protection from jumping cats.

I honestly bought this product based on DIY articles about hanging/mounting wall art without drilling holes. I bought it mainly to hang some small 12x17 framed pictures on a textured slanted wall in my room. They placed well for a few hours but they kept falling. Now it could be because of the angle they were at, the fact that it's a textured wall, or because of the heat of the room during the day, I really wasn't sure. They also would not stay mounted on the flat vertical walls of the room either which leads me to believe that they just aren't meant to be used this way. They did clean up easily and left no residue or damage to the walls, they just didn't do what I wished they would have done.

My wife bought one of those wrought iron plate holders, and she wanted to install three smaller plates in the middle of three larger plates before putting them on the holder on the wall. I didn't think it could be done--I was wrong. That stuff not only held, but a couple of months later she decided she wanted to take the three small plates off; they came off, but it was hard to get them off. The stuffs holds well.

Bought this for our RV which is our home on wheels. I LOOOOVE this stuff!!! It means I can have my pretty lamp from my house in our RV and it hasn't budged in 6 months. Not even when off-roading in the beast, lol! Just make sure you clean the surface really really well (I use a light swab of rubbing alcohol) before sticking or it won't.

I've found several uses for this stuff beyond the ordinary. Recently I needed a way to secure the dipole ribbon radio antenna and I would have tacked it to the wall behind my radio, but instead I used this adhesive and hid the ends behind pictures. Worked great and no holes in the wall. And, as always, it won't damage the paint when it's removed.

I purchased this because I wanted a non invasive way to post a couple of ouctures in my RVWell it does not stay up . I have tried two different pictures/ canvas and it will not holdVery disappointed

We have a collage of photos and small shelves that hold a few mementos on the wall of our stairway... which leads to my children's playroom. Before I found this putty I was constantly picking items up off the stairs and even had to use super glue at one time, but no longer. This putty does what it claims. I am very happy.
