These really helped my beginning reader with speed reading. He knows how to look at the difference prefix and suffix to establish the proper sounds.

These have been very helpful with my daughter's whom has dyslexia, 4th grade spelling words.

I bought this item to help my daughter with special needs to identify letters and piece parts of words together. They’re simple little blocks that don’t require explanation to use and can be used with other tools for learning. My daughter doesn’t use it for that, but she sounds out the letters on the blocks and likes to attach/detach them. They seem pretty easy to manipulate for little kids as well. I think these would make for great manipulative pieces during centers for students.

Good kinesthetic activity

Great for new readers! Targeting specific sounds and breaking down bigger words into separate blocks was a huge help for my son. Digraphs and blends have been tricky, and being able to practice them in a hands on way was helpful, and a more fun approach for him. The only downside was the blocks can be difficult to pull apart.
