The Bird and Red Ivy Journal features a beautiful cover and heavyweight, smooth paper. I have ordered several products from Peter Pauper Press and am impressed by the excellent quality and reasonable price of each one....it is my go-to source for stationery items.

It’s a bit bigger than I expected (I’m not great with measuring dimensions and such) but it works perfectly with me! Like I said, it’s pretty big for a journal but totally doable (just a tad bit smaller than a composition notebook) and packs away nicely. The cover is as pictured, not too dramatic yet not too plain. The colors are nice and blend together seamlessly without causing too much of an eyesore. I do recommend that users should be careful with this journal; the pages are gold foil lined, the foil causes the pages to be thicker and paper cuts are easy to get if you’re not careful! Also, I would not recommend gel pens as the ink WILL bleed through the page.

I bought this for my mom for her birthday. She absolutely loves it. She said the paper is a high quality and the edges of the paper are golden. It’s just stunning. I was worried it wouldn’t make it on time for the big day, I waited till the last minute. To my surprise it was two whole day early! Thank you to Amazon for the speedy delivery!!!!!!! What a gift. I hope to purchase one from this same company for myself.

Good quality paper, comes with a ribbon bookmark attached, doesn't bleed

I've been using Peter Pauper Press Journals for years now and I love them. High quality - much higher than expected for the price. The paper is very nice and your pen doesn't leak through the pages. The pages are gilded in gold and there is a nice flat thin ribbon to mark your current page. I now have about 8-10 of them and love adding to my collection as I finish my previous journal. Would be a great gift to get someone started in journaling. I got my 83 year old mother started and she has filled 10 volumes now. They will be a nice keepsake.

I use this for my daily journal. The binding lays flat and the lines are light, so it's easy to write in (or add drawings). My absolute favorite journal of all time (and I've been keeping them since 4th grade.:))) Cannot beat the price, nor the quality. And the gorgeous Asian art is beyond beautiful. Just as colorful as in the picture.

Me encanta el diseño. La primera página venía con una mancha pero además de eso el diario esta estupendo, me encanta el efecto dorado de las páginas, y lo he comprado en oferta por lo que ah salido genial! es posible que vuelva a comprar otros.
