Should have checked the review first as they only fit super rods 5mmCan't give starts as did not use it

3mm to 5mm Insert might solve the problem
Like most have said the main problem with this is the 5mm thread size, regarding compatibility. I have ordered these (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07T9N6CBY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) with the hope they will fit and solve the problem. Am just waiting for delivery and I will update this review with my findings.

Best designed BUT will not screw on to cheaper rods
This kit clearly is the best designed gripper you can buy, sadly however I never got the chance to use it as the screw fitting in the end is a lot larger than the rods I have seen on sale and indeed bought! I do not have £149 lying about to buy their professional kit which I am sure it would fit.I have annexed a photo showing the Silverline rod I had previously purchased (blue) and the packet with the gripper. the diameter of the gripper screw end is 5mm and the silverline about 3mm.Be really helpful if vendors gave all measurements on the page.It is unfair to give the product 1 star when its worth 5 with the right rod, but hopefully this will serve as a warning for other amateurs.

Cable grip
The easiest tool to grip cables as you pass them through cavity walls. Will return later to get the other size as using it was such a success
