This product was identical to another that was previously available at CVS. They could not keep in on the shelf because it was effective and inexpensive. Now this product is no longer available also. Nothing raises my suspicions about consumer and market manipulations as much as when this happens. But not to worry, look at all of the expensive alternatives that are available instead. Sheeesh.

Gelusil now costs almost twice as much from when I initially starting purchasing it. Fortunately, they are not the only game in town. If you need an antacid that is currently reported to be - free of Calcium Carbonate - then Mintox Plus is a great alternative. Similar tablet consistency to Gelusil, same ingredients. I still keep Gelusil around because I like the foil sealed packs when I'm on the go - but at home Mintox Plus rules.

I was really upset when Maalox stopped manufacturing their product, as I had used it for as long as I can remember. After a lot of searching, I found this to be the closest match. It is a good product, and I am glad I discovered it. Will keep purchasing!

Taste like chalky lemon. Works as good as Rolaid's.

Cool idea, I hoped they worked better than they did. I think they made my poo turned a whitish color.
