I didn't want the carbon fiber that this item has, but after ordering the piano black shift knob with that shade of red, it was obvious that it didn't match, so I built a bridge and got over the carbon fiber pattern. The color blends in perfectly, since it's far enough away from any of the other Rioja Red interior that it's unnoticeable. The pics on the listing are horrible - they make it look far too dark, which is why I initially shied away from buying this (along with the carbon fiber pattern), but after installing this, I wish I had paid attention to others, and just bought this the first time. I'm gonna try a leather-look vinyl wrap on the carbon fiber part. If I can get good results, I fully believe I'll love it, and be even more satisfied with this than the piano black. Great little piece that helps personalize the interior and makes the car just that much more "me".

IDK if the leather is real, or the carbon is real, but it replaced the peeling factory shift knob and looks and works great. Easy to install, the color, loo, fit and finish are spot on.

The red looks different from what is shown on here. Looks bright red orange not wine red or dark red
