It has so many notes, but each one works with the rest to create a truly indescribably wonderful scent. It is light but full, sweet but not cloying, soft but not like powder. I have tried the Honey and the Moon scent by this same company and while I certainly like it, my favorite is still Kabuki. Pros: smell, texture of the product, the quality of the moisturizer, packaging (I actually use the box it came in to hold pens because it is so pretty). Cons: price (with a caveat - as I said above, a little bit goes a long way. The tube I received at Christmas lasted me through mid-April, with at least 2x daily use) Of note, this company has a large variety of scents in this lotion so if you read the scent notes on this one and don’t think it is for you, they might have something else that appeals more to your personal preferences. I just was fortunate and found one I loved right away. Review: Desert dweller’s hand elixir of life!! - I love the scent. TokyoMilk products have always had the best scents. What draws me time and time again to buy their products are two things: 1) My hands have sensitive skin snd it’s hard to find a lotion, a luxury lotion at that, that doesn’t feel like my hands are burning off. It’s gentle on my skin but makes my hands soooo silky and soft!! 2) I live in the desert. Las Vegas, NV. Where humidity levels are always below 10%. 99% of lotions evaporate off my skin before the lotion can actually do any help or give any relief. This lotion is a frickin miracle. With the year of covid and washing my hands and using sanitizer, added to my normal routine around the house, this lotion is my hands lifesaver. I’m going to say it - elixir of youth times 100! The scent has many layers to it. You first smell a more strong floral, then a soft spice, then an almond and milk combination, then lastly a light nutmeg undertone. It blends together beautifully.

I was given this hand cream as a gift and I searched and found it here . Just the softest skin and a beautiful light scent . My favorite cream ever !

Nice lotion
Bought the kabuki. Didnt pick up any grapefruit odor, mostly vanilla smell, but it is very nice I would buy it again. Very soft , long lasting. No greasy feeling.

Song in D Minor cream is divine
I have worn Song in D Minor perfume for years so I finally bought the lotion. It is absolutely EXQUISITE! In fact, I will probably wear this lotion sometimes without layering.

One of the Best Lotions Ever!!!
This lotion is one of the Best Ever!!! My hands get rough & dry and are subject to cracking. I am outside and in the dirt a lot as well as using super hot water to wash my hands & the dishes - so I’ve tried sooo many Lotions over the years! This lotion soaks in great (not greasy at all) - it makes your hands super soft…and the “Let Them Eat Cake” scent smells wonderful!!! A+++

Great efficacy, but triggers migraine
I ordered this some time ago, but I couldn't remember why I couldn't find it anywhere among my assorted stuff, so I decided to order it again. Turns out I must have given it away because, while the scent is OK and it makes my hands feel great, it triggered a roaring migraine within half an hour of application. After scrubbing my hands four times, the scent was still detectable. Too bad for me, but I'm sure my MIL will appreciate it.

I ordered this as a gift for my friend and her Birthday is not til the end of July but I know that it take a long time to get here. She uses it all the time and could not get it here so I ordered it and it was almost b3 weeks to get it. She will be HAPPY !!!!!
