Real human review here!!! This Flux is pretty fantastic, considering the price. I typically use Amtech ot Stirri, which are both world class, but this Essmetuin will get the job done, almost, as good, for a fraction of the price. I spent some time doing coin cell battery replacement on some of my Super Nintendo games and this Flux was a breeze to work with. It keeps the solder flowing and has great wetting action. All of my joints came out solid and nice and shiny. It didn't smell bad or smoke any more than the better Flux brands that I've used. It also didn't caramelize and harden after use, which I've definitely had happen with some other brands. It is a tacky Flux, but I wouldn't call it overly sticky and it's not ridiculously thick. When dispensing it from the syringe, I would say it has the consistency of something like pudding. But, it obviously flows out of the syringe nice and smooth. And although this is a no-clean Flux, you will probably want to clean it off your PCB if that's what you're working with. Some Q-Tips or a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol will make short work of any leftover residue. But, if you really don't care, you don't have to clean it up. It won't hurt anything. This Flux isn't any messier or harder to clean than the other brands I've used. Every tacky Flux is going to require some clean-up if you want everything to be, not a bit sticky, when you're finished. For the price, I don't think you can beat this quantity. If you wanted 4 syringes of Amtech or Stirri, you're going to pay 3-4x the price. And those brands are awesome, but the Essmetuin is probably (almost) as good, for 99% of projects.
