My hair has always been long until I went through chemotherapy and lost it all; it has since been growing back, and I’m having to get used to styling it short, and some of my favorite hot tools just don’t work very well. So I purchased this curling iron but didn’t try it out until today. I stupidly looked at the included TWO gloves, set them aside (thinking about all the curling irons I’ve used over the years), and thus came about the only con about this product: IT GETS REALLY HOT, and I managed to burn myself more than once! But the curls were so amazing at 450 degrees and I was in a hurry to finish, so I just kept going and tried to be more careful. If you use it at any real heat at all, protect your hair with some form of hair protection product, and I have a mat that I use to protect my bathroom counter from any hot tool. Here are the things I love about this tool: 1. It has a digital read-out and can be set for whatever temperature you want. 2. It comes with the mentioned gloves that I didn’t use. 3. It comes with two great clips that I loved to keep the curled hair separated from the uncurled hair. 4. The barrel of this curling iron is super (extra) long! This allows you to curl pieces of hair in a ringlet style, and you can also put a little more hair on it thanks to the extra barrel space. Be careful, though, because all of that barrel is HOT! And I realized quickly that I needed to release the hair almost immediately after winding it up so my hair never got singed. 5 I also like that the buttons are little and on the edge of the round plastic circle (around the digital face). I never once accidentally hit one while curling my hair as I have done with many other hot tools. This curling iron makes gorgeous curls!!! I am so very glad I purchased it!

Highly recommended, easy to use, light weight, very nice curls, different adjustable temperature level, the only thing is that the gloves aren’t reliable for they’re not enough heat resistant, I just got one of the pair burnt! Overall I’m really happy with it, thank you.

I love how long the barrel is on this iron - you can really fit a lot of hair on it! I also love how it has so many different temp settings. It is super smooth now. If you use hair styling products it might not stay so smooth. The only thing I do not like about this is the stand. It becomes very hot and and is in the way of the barrel.

I have long curly hair and this works great for me. I dry my hair and then use the curling iron to straighten it. Because it has such a large barrel, it can straighten, but it leaves a little wave rather than it being stick straight. I like that it shows the temperature as it is warming up, so you know when it has reached the setting you desire and is ready to use. I also like the look of the black overall. I will be using it in a bathroom that is black and white. It's all in the little things... of course your curling iron doesn't HAVE to match your bathroom, but not having to pull out some big, plastic, incongruent, purple thing is a little bonus! UPDATE: I have used this item about four times. I bought it for a second home, so it was not used often at all. I tried to use it today and it will not turn on. The display that says "OFF" lights up, but when you click the buttons to turn it on and adjust the heat, the display continues to say "OFF". Yes, it is off. ON would be of a little more use. Unfortunately the return window on this item has closed, so I am stuck with it.
